영문 초록

The purpose of this case report was to find out if implant-supported prosthesis in the upper incisor region run the risk of coming into an infraoccluded position later in life. An adolescent with one implant-supported central incisor was used. The age of the patient at the implant surgery was 15 years, and was followed up during 43-th period. An unacceptable esthetic appearance, infraocclusion(는 1mm) of the implant supported crown, at the last observation was found in this case. Throughout the follow-up period, minor loss of marginal bone ( = 1mm) spport was observed at the implant. At the teeth adjacent to the implant, a change of the marginal bone level was observed(士 0.5mm). Of importance to consider in single implant therapy is that a fixed chronologic age is no guidance for implant ac -ement, due to slight continuous eruption of the adjacent teeth post adolescence. Consequently, the sseointegration technique using dental implant is to be recommended carefully in the upper incisor region in adolescence as well as adult patient.
