뮤직프로덕션과의 운영 실태와 미래 전망

국문 초록

현대사회는 실용적이고 기능적인 교육을 중시하는 교육목표와 가치의 전환, 교육의 대상인 학생들의 교육에 대한 수용적 자세가 기능적, 실질적, 현장 적응적으로 변화되고 있다. 이러한 사회적 현상에 민감하게 대처하는 실용음악은 순수음악과 비교가 되지 않을 만큼의 짧은 역사와 전통을 가졌음에도 불구하고, 현재 사회․문화․예술적인 면에서 차지하는 비중과 그 가치는 매우 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 실용음악과, 음향제작과 그리고 실용음악작곡 기반의 컴퓨터 및 디지털음악 학과들을 결합ㆍ통합하는 새로운 교육제도를 처음으로 시도한 계명대 뮤직프로덕션과의 운영 실태와 전망에 대해 살펴보았다. 현시대적 대명사인 멀티미디어와 디지털의 상호작용, 시대적 감각과 예술로의 통합이 가속화되기 시작한 현시점에서 연구자는 이제 뮤직프로덕션과의 나아가야 할 길은 음악을 기반으로 하여 타 예술 문화와 더욱 긴밀히 연계하고 함께 호흡하며 시대를 앞서 나아가야한다고 본다. 그리고 음악․음향 예술문화의 창작, 연주, 제작과 더불어 유통, 소비를 총괄하는 뮤직프로덕션 전문인을 배출하기 위해서는 1) 실용음악 전반 이론을 바탕으로 한 실무 중심적이고 현장적응적인 교육제도 및 교육환경; 2) 타 예술분야와 연계되고 통합되는 교육과정 설계; 3) 미래지향적이며 도전적인 교육철학 및 교육 가치관; 4) ‘1인 기업형 멀티 플레이어’를 위한 ‘뮤직프로덕션 아티스트’ 인성 함양; 5) 사회기능적인 역할과 활용 가능한 학과 마케팅을 더욱 더 적극적으로 운영하여야 한다.

영문 초록

The educational goal of modern society puts importance on the practical and functional education as well as change of value; and receptive attitude of students, the target of education, toward education is changing into functional, practical and on-site adaptive one. The applied music, which sensitively adapts itself to this kind of social phenomenon, has more and more share and value in current society, culture and art though it has incomparably short history and tradition with pure music. Therefore, I examined the operational state and future prospect for Music Production Department of Keimyung University which firstly attempted a new educational system combining and incorporating applied music department, sound production department and applied music composition-based computer and digital music departments. The interaction between multimedia and digital which are pronouns of present age, and incorporation into temporal sense and art are recently being accelerated, and so I believe that the music production should breathe and make closer connection with other fields of art and culture based on music and should go ahead of time. In order to train music production professionals who summarize the creation, performance and production of music and sound art and culture as well as the distribution and consumption of those, we should more aggressively operate ad practical and actually adapted educational system and environment based on applied music theories, ofeincorporated curriculum design connected with other fields of art, craggressive and challenging educational philosophy and values, 4) professional teachers in applied music who can lead field-oriented applied music education, and 5) social-functional role and applicable department marketing.
