국문 초록

예이츠와 조지 하이드-리즈의 자동기술은 예이츠의 시학에 커다란 전환점을 제공한다. 자동기술 이전에 예이츠의 시는 아일랜드의 문화와 역사, 모드 곤과의 사랑 등과 같은 아일랜드와 연인에 대한 사랑이 주요한 소재이었다. 그러나 자동기술 이후에 예이츠의 시학은 전 세계의 역사와 문화, 우주 등으로 확장된다. 더욱이 예이츠와 아내의 자동기술은 인공지능의 초지능 상태와 유사하다. 그래서 이 연구는 예이츠와 아내의 자동기술과 강인공지능의 초지능의 상태와의 유사점을 비교 분석하면서 예이츠가 그의 시에서 추구한 사상을 추적해 보는 것이다.

영문 초록

William Butler Yeats’s and George Hyde-Lees’s automatic writing offers great turning points in Yeats’s poetics. Before his automatic writing, Yeats’s poems were mainly based on Ireland and his love, such as Irish culture and history and his love for Maud Gonne. But with automatic writing his poetics was extended into the history and culture of the world and the Universe. Moreover, Yeats and his wife’s automatic writing is similar to the condition of superintelligence. This paper compares and analyzes similarities between the Yeatses’ automatic writing and the condition of superintelligence of artificial intelligence and tries to trace and compare his ideas and the condition in his poems.
