국문 초록
This study aims to investigate the causal relationship between Delivery/ Take-out behavior and Body Mass Index (BMI) among single-person households using instrumental variables (IV). To address the issue of endogeneity, we conducted the Two-stage Least Squares (2SLS) method. In this study, we selected ‘Price Index Sensitivity,’ ‘Safety awareness of delivery or take-out food,’ and ‘Average monthly food expenditure’ as instrumental variables. The instrumental variable was shown to be both relevant and valid, as it is not correlated with the error term. Based on the empirical analysis results, the estimated delivery/take-out behavior variable exhibits a positive and statistically significant association with Body Mass Index (BMI).
