국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 경력단절여성의 희망 일자리 유형별(취업, 창업, 프리랜서 등) 욕구 특성과 희망 일자리 유형에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하여, 경력단절여성의 경제활동을 촉진하고 사회진출을 제고할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 한국여성정책연구원에서 수집한 2022년 경력단절여성 등의 경제활동실태조사 데이터 중 현재 비취업여성 중 향후 5년 이내 일할 계획이 있는 여성 1,963,325명(가중치 적용)을 분석에 활용하였다. 교차분석을 통해 경력단절여성의 희망 일자리 유형별로(취업, 창업 및 프리랜서) 일하는 목적과 일자리 선택 시 고려사항을 확인하여 경력단절여성의 희망 일자리 유형별 욕구 특성을 파악하였으며, 적극적 구직활동, 국민취업제도 이용, 직업훈련 참여의향에 차이가 있는지 확인하였다. 또한, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하여 경력단절여성의 희망 일자리 유형에 영향을 미치는 요인과 적극적 구직활동, 국민취업제도 이용, 직업교육훈련 참여 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하였다. 이 연구 결과를 토대로 경력단절여성의 경제활동 참여 제고를 위한 향후 정책에 반영이 필요한 사항과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of career-interrupted women's needs for preferred job types (such as employment, self-employment, and freelance work) and the factors influencing their preferred job types in order to propose measures that can promote their participation in labor market and enhance their re-entry into the workforce. For this purpose, data from the 2022 Economic Activity Survey of Career-Interrupted Women collected by the Korea Women’s Development Institute was used for the analysis. The characteristics of career-interrupted women's needs on preferred job types were identified, and statistically significant differences in active job-seeking behavior, utilization of the National Employment Support System, and in willingness to participate in vocational training were examined through cross-tabulation analysis. Additionally, the factors influencing the preferred job types of career-interrupted women, as well as those affecting active job-seeking behavior, utilization of the National Employment Support System, and willingness to participate in vocational training, were identified using logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of this study, practical and research implications presented to enhance career-interrupted women’s participation in economic activities.
