Cinema has always been an essential component of micro urban space, which is becoming more and more important in today's society due to the rapid development of urbanization. This study seeks to investigate the three level of cinema's spatial production as a social space, drawing on Lefebvre's theory of spatial production. It primarily focuses on the role that cinema plays in urban areas and the qualities that make it a type of consumption and cultural space. It also examines the spatial qualities of film and how Lefebvre's theory of spatial production can be used to study the spatial production process of film. Using a theoretical analysis approach, this paper first describes the materiality, solidity, and intimate relationship that exist between film images and their spatial qualities. Next, using Lefebvre's spatial triadic dialectic—that is, “spatial practice,” “representations of space,” and “Representational spaces”—the essay examines the spatial production of the film. The article examines the physical space of cinemas historically, examines the imaginative space of cinemas and its symbolic meaning in terms of representations of space, and investigates the ritual function and symbolic production of cinemas in terms of Representational spaces. This article, which draws on the triadic dialectic, shows how cinema spatial production both reflects and has the potential to overcome alienation in a consumer world. Cinema space is the result of the blending of the real and the imagined, and it provides a means of transcending the mundane via the creation of meaning through rituals and symbols. In modern urban environment, the movie theater has a special significance and worth as a social venue.
