국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 자연물을 활용한 음률 활동이 유아의 정서지능과 환경친화적 태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구는 광주광역시의 N 어린이집 만 5세 유아 15명(실험집단)과 H 어린이집 만 5세 유아 15명(비교집단)을 대상으로 실험연구를 시행하였다. 실험집단은 자연물을 활용한 음률 활동에, 비교집단은 누리과정의 생활주제에 따른 음률 활동에 참여하였다. 연구 결과, 정서지능과 환경친화적 태도에서 실험집단 점수가 비교집단보다 유의하게 향상하였다. 실험집단의 사전-사후 평균 차이 분석에서도 정서지능과 환경친화적 태도가 유의하게 향상하였다. 즉, 자연물을 활용한 음률 활동이 유아의 정서지능과 환경친화적 태도에 긍정적 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 연구는 자연물을 활용한 음률 활동의 교육적 효과를 입증함으로써 유아의 정서지능과 환경친화적 태도 향상에 효과적인 교수-학습 활동을 제시하는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of music and movement activities using natural objects on young children’s emotional intelligence and eco-friendly attitudes. This study conducted experimental research targeting 15 five-year-old children at N daycare center (experimental group) and 15 five-year-old children at H daycare center (comparative group) in Gwangju metropolitan city. The experimental group participated in music and movement activities using natural objects, and comparative group in music and movement activities according to the life themes of Nuri curriculum. As a result of study, the scores of the experimental group in emotional intelligence and eco-friendly attitudes were significantly improved compared to those of the comparative group. In the analysis of the difference between the pre-post average of the experimental group, emotional intelligence and eco-friendly attitudes were significantly improved. That is to say, music and movement activities using natural objects have a positive effect on young children’s emotional intelligence and eco-friendly attitudes. Therefore, this study is meaningful in presenting effective teaching-learning activities for improving young children’s emotional intelligence and eco-friendly attitudes by demonstrating the educational effects of music and movement activities using natural objects.
