국문 초록

유교의 ‘효’문화는 매우 실천적인 문화이며, 고대 중국 정부가 이 ‘효’문화를 어떻게 전파했는지는 ‘효’문화 계승 연구에 있어서 매우 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문은 고대 이우(義烏)현을 사례연구 대상으로 삼아 ‘효자전(孝子傳)’이나 효행록(孝行錄) 등의 전통 효덕(孝德) 고사를 활용하여 교육을 촉진하는 지방정부의 실천과 그 효과를 고찰하였다. 고대 이우현은 안오(顔烏)의 효덕(孝德) 고사를 활용하여 두 가지 방식으로 지역에다 홍보 및 교육을 실시했다. 하나는 표준화된 성대한 제사의식을 통해 지역 선비들에게 영향을 가져다주고 이를 현지 주민들에게 전달하는 것이다. 또 하나는 중앙 조정에서 지방 관리들까지 모범이 되게 한다. 이는 주로 효의 모델인 안오의 효행을 숭배함으로써 주민들의 가치 지향에 영향을 미친다. 유교가 발달한 이우에서는 역대 지방정부의 ‘효’문화 전파에 좋은 반응을 보였으며, 지역 선비들의 혈액 속에도 ‘효’문화가 깊이 스며들어 있다. 또한 ‘충효일체(忠孝一體)’라는 중국 문화의 배경 하에, 고대 중국 봉건 왕조는 ‘충효’에 많은 의미를 부여함으로써 수많은 ‘충군애국(忠君愛國)’ 사대부들이 등장하게 된 것이다.

영문 초록

The Confucian filial piety culture is a very practical culture. How the ancient Chinese government propagates the filial piety culture is an important issue in the study of its inheritance. This paper chooses ancient Yiwu County as a case study to investigate the local government's practice of using traditional filial piety stories, such as filial piety stories or filial piety records, and the effect of practice. In ancient times, Yiwu County used Yan Wu Xiaode's story to carry out local missionary education in two ways: one is to influence local scholars through standardized and grand sacrificial ceremonies, and then pass it on to the people in the county; First, from the central court to the local officials, the main role is to worship Yan Xiaozi, the model of filial piety, which affects the value orientation of the people. In Yiwu, where Confucianism is developed, the filial piety culture of local governments has received good feedback, and the filial piety culture has also penetrated into the blood of scholars. In the context of the Chinese subject culture of “loyalty and filial piety”, it also provided the “loyalty and justice” dividend for the ancient Chinese feudal government, and a large number of “loyal and patriotic” scholar-officials emerged.
