농촌형 시티투어 개별관광객과 단체관광객의 방문동기 비교분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 진주에서 농촌형 관광객 자율 시티투어 프로그램을 진행하여 지수면 부자마을로 방문하는 이용객의 방문동기에 따른 개별관광객과 단체관광객의 비교분석을 통해 지속가능한 진주시의 농촌관광 시책사업 발굴과 전략을 도출하기 위해 본 연구를 진행하였다. 연구대상지인 진주시 지수면 부자마을을 방문한 방문객을 대상으로 농촌관광 방문동기와 만족도에 대한 설문의 조작적 정의를 통해 선호도 조사를 진행하였다. 표본 216명에 대한 농촌관광 방문동기에 대한 요인분석 결과, 개척일탈동기, 역사탐방동기, 체험학습동기, 가족친화동기 4개 요인으로 분석되어, 개별관광객과 단체관광객간의 방문동기 비교분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통한 학술적인 시사점은 진주를 중심으로 경남의 서부권역으로 확대되고 있는 K-기업가정신과 남명사상의 핵심 거점인 ‘지수면 부자마을’에 대한 농촌관광 가치를 확인하고, 농촌마을을 방문한 개별관광객 및 단체관광객의 선호도 조사를 통한 방문동기의 비교연구가 향후, 지속가능한 농촌관광을 고민하고 연구하는 일선 기초지방자치단체나 기업, 기관에 참고가 될 만한 연구가 이루어졌다고 판단된다. 실무적인 시사점은 지자체 출연기관(진주문화관광재단)에서 추진하는 관광과 관련된 중·장기 지역의 거점관광과 농촌관광에 대한 기초적인 전략과제의 도출과 일선 관광 현장에서 단위 사업을 추진하기 위한 관련자료를 형성할 수 있는 연구가 이루어졌다고 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to discover sustainable Jinju-city rural tourism policy projects and derive strategies through comparative analysis between individual and group tourists according to the motives of visitors to the rich village of Jisu-myeon by conducting an autonomous city tour program for rural tourists in Jinju. A preference survey was conducted through the operational definition of a questionnaire on the motivation and satisfaction of visiting rural tourism for visitors to the rich village of Jisu-myeon, Jinju-si, the target site of the study. As a result of factor analysis on the motivation for visiting rural tourism for 216 sample subjects, four factors were analyzed: pioneering day departure motivation, history exploration motivation, experiential learning motivation, and family-friendly motivation, and a comparative analysis was conducted between individual and group tourists. The academic implications of this study are that the study confirmed the value of rural tourism in the “Jisu-myeon Rich Village”, a key hub of K-entrepreneurship and Nammyeong ideology, which is expanding to the western part of Gyeongnam Province, centering on Jinju, and compared the motivation for visiting through a survey of the preferences of individual and group tourists visiting rural villages. It is judged that a study that can be used as a reference to basic local governments, companies, and institutions that consider and study sustainable rural tourism has been conducted. The practical implications are that research has been conducted to derive basic strategic tasks for tourism and rural tourism in mid- to long-term regions related to tourism promoted by local government-funded organizations (Jinju Cultural Tourism Foundation) and to form related data to promoting unit projects in front-line tourism sites
