국문 초록

코로나19 팬데믹 이후 우리 사회는 ‘내가 아닌 남에 대한 관용성과 포용성’에 관해 고민해 볼 필요성에 직면했다. 국가와 국가, 개인과 개인 간의 상호연결성이 증대되는 세계화 현상 속에서 코로나19 팬데믹은 우리 사회에 ‘혐오’의 문제점을 낳았다. 이런 배경에 기초하여 국가 안팎의 변화와 세계화 흐름 속에서 시민적 정체성과 역량의 모색 및 형성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구는 인문학적 논의와 음악, 감성 함양, 세계시민이라는 중요한 연결키워드를 중심으로 이루어졌다. 그리고 모호하면서도 광범위한 세계시민교육에 대한 구체적이면서도 효율적인 목적과 의미를 이해하는 데 노력의 초점을 맞췄다. 본 연구는 첫째, 음악교육은 왜 필요할까, 둘째, 예술적 융합을 기반으로 한 음악교육은 무엇인가, 셋째, 음악교육과 세계시민 양성과의 관계는 어떠한가, 넷째, 음악교육을 통한 세계시민 양성은 가능한가라는 네가지 의문에서 출발했다. 예술교육은 오늘날 세계가 직면하고 있는 사회적, 문화적으로 복잡한 문제를 해결하는 데 있어 그 적용 가능성이 모색되고 있으며, 개인의 심미적인 발전을 촉진할 뿐만 아니라 문화적으로 바람직한 결과를 가져오기 위한 그 목적성이 주목받고 있다. 음악은 실천주의적 관점을 기반으로 사회문화적인 흐름과 분위기 속에서 자연스럽게 자신을 이해하고 그 안에서 삶의 철학을 찾아가는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 하지만 우리의 학교 현장은 학업 성과와 입시 위주의 교육에 집중한 나머지 인성교육이라는 중요한 부분을 간과하고 있다. 현실의 교육 현장에 언어적·유형적 폭력, 집단따돌림, 잘못된 성 관념, 이기심과 혐오, 편파적 사고로 인한 많은 문제가 있다는 사실은 부인하기 어렵다. 따라서 우리는 음악을 통해 정서와 감수성을 기르고, 음악의 미적 탐구와 통찰 및 성찰을 통해 자신과 타인, 그리고 사회와 세계를 이해하도록 노력해야 한다.

영문 초록

After the Covid-19 pandemic, our society has gradually become more diverse in terms of culture, race, language, and religion. In the globalization phenomenon where interconnectivity is increasing at the level of different countries and individuals, the pandemic has brought the problem of ‘hatred’ to our society. We researched the search and formation of civic identity and capabilities amidst the globalization trend of change inside and outside the country. In this research paper, we conducted research focusing on philosophical discussions and important linking keywords such as music, emotional development and global citizenship, and attempted to understand the specific and essential purpose and meaning of global citizenship education, which is somewhat ambiguous but broad. I tried for it. So, this study asks: Why is music education necessary? What is music education based on artistic fusion? What is the relationship between music education and nurturing global citizens? Is it possible to cultivate global citizens through music education? I started with the question: Art education explores various possibilities to solve the social and cultural challenges facing the world today, and the purpose of art education is said to be to bring about culturally desirable results as well as individual aesthetic development. Music aims to naturally understand oneself within the socio-cultural flow and atmosphere based on a practical perspective and to find a philosophy of life within it, but in our school, education through education centered on academic performance and entrance exams is character education. is missing. There is no denying the fact that there are many problems in such educational settings, such as verbal and physical violence, group bullying, suicide, school maladjustment, peer relationship problems, and sexual morality disorder. We must cultivate emotions and sensibilities through music and strive to understand ourselves, others, society, and the world through aesthetic exploration, insight, and reflection in music..
