국문 초록

본 연구는 기업가적 지향성(Entrepreneurial Orientation, EO)이 기업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지실증적으로 검증하고자 한다. 또한, 조직 내부의 사내벤처(Corporate Venturing)에 관한 인식의 조절효과를 살펴보았다. SUR 모형을 활용하여, 그동안 개별적으로 연구되었던 기업가적 지향성과 다양한 기업성과(예: 지각된 재무성과, 실질적 재무성과)들과의 관계를 실증분석하여 다양한 기업성과변수 간의 영향을 동시에 검증했다. 실증분석을 위해 2022년 기업가정신 실태조사(기업편) DB의3,120개 기업을 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 기업가적 지향성은 다양한 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사내벤처에 관한 인식은 기업가적 지향성과 기업성과 간의 관계에 양(+)의조절효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 추가로 서브샘플링(Sub-Sampling) 분석을 통해 기업형태(예: 대기업, 중견기업, 중소기업), 주업종 성장단계(예: 창업기, 성장기, 성숙기, 쇠퇴기) 여부에 따라결과의 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과, 시사점, 정책적 제언을 통해 실무적 연관성을극대화하고 관련 이론의 발전을 꾀하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study empirically investigates the impact of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) on firm performance and the moderating effect of perceived corporate venturing. By employing the SUR (Seemingly Unrelated Regression) model, this research simultaneously analyzes the relationships between various types of firm performance, including the perceived entrepreneurial performance and the actual financial performance. The 2022 Entrepreneurship Survey data by the Korean Entrepreneurship Foundation was used to analyze 3,119 companies. The results show a positive relationship between EO and various firm performance measures. In addition, the authors find that organization’s perception on corporate venturing positively moderates the relationship between EO and firm performance. Sub-sample analyses further investigate potential variations in results based on company type (e.g., large-sized, medium-sized, small-sized firms) and industry growth stage (e.g., introduction phase, growth phase, maturity & decline phase). The findings of this study can be useful to guide managers in making informed decisions and implementing entrepreneurial strategies.
