중국 연극전공 대학생의 연극 공연 경험이 우울에 미치는 영향과 자신감, 자아존중감, 사회적 불안의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 중국 대학 4년제 연극전공 학생들의 연극 공연 경험이 우울을 감소시켜 주는지, 그 과정에서 자신감, 자아존중감, 사회적 불안이 매개 역할을 하는지를 알아보는 데에 목적이 있었다. 연구 대상은 중국 대학 연극공연학과 대학생 224명이다. 조사 기간은 2021년 6월 10일부터 6월 30일까지였다. 연구모형과 가설 검증을 하기 위하여 구조방정식모형 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연극 공연 경험은 사회적 불안은 직접 낮추어주고 우울은 간접적으로 낮추어주었다. 둘째, 연극 공연 경험은 자신감을 직접 높여주고, 자신감은 자아존중감을 직접 높여주었다. 셋째, 자아존중감은 사회적불안과 우울을 각각 직접 낮추어주었고, 사회적 불안은 우울을 직접 높여주었다. 넷째, 연극공연경험과 자아존중감 간에 자신감은 정적 매개 역할을 하였다. 다섯째, 연극공연경험과 우울 간에 자신감, 자아존중감, 사회적 불안은 연속 다중 매개 역할을 하여 우울을 더욱 낮추어 주었다. 본 연구 결과는 연극 공연을 하기까지 자신의 노출, 타인과의 다양한 교류와 같은 경험 때문이라는 점에서 연극 공연 경험이 아닌 다른 유사한 경험도 동일한 효과가 있을 것이라는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the theater performance experience of Chinese university students majoring in 4-year theater reduced depression, and whether self-confidence, self-esteem, and social anxiety played a mediating role in the process. The subjects of the study were 224 college students majoring in theater and performance at Chinese universities. The investigation period was from June 10 to June 30, 2021. Structural equation model analysis were performed. The results of the study are as follows. First, the theater performance experience directly lowered social anxiety and indirectly lowered depression. Second, the theater performance experience directly increased self-confidence, and self-confidence directly increased self-esteem. Third, self-esteem directly lowered social anxiety and depression, respectively, and. social anxiety directly increased depression. Fourth, self-confidence played a positive mediating role between theater performance experience and self-esteem. Fifth, self-confidence, self-esteem, and social anxiety continuously played multiple mediating roles between the theatrical performance experience and depression to further lower depression.
