초등수학영재의 협력적 문제해결 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 협력적 문제해결이 성공적으로 일어난 사례를 분석하여 협력적 문제해결의 구체적인 과정을 기술하고 그 특징을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 수학영재 학생들의 개인적인 문제 풀이결과를 분석하고, 각자의 풀이를 고려해서 소집단을 구성하여 이들의 협력적 문제해결 과정을 관찰하였다. 협력적 문제해결과정에서 2가지 특징을 확인하였다. 첫째, 수학영재학생들은 서로 다른 풀이를 공유하면서 서로 다른 관점을 이해하고 이를 토대로 자신의 풀이와 상대방의 풀이를 검증할 수 있었다. 둘째, 학생들은 타인의 관점을 재해석하여 자신의 풀이에 적용할 수 있었고, 이 과정에서 자신의 풀이는 물론 상대방의 풀이와도 다른 질적으로 수준 높은 풀이를 완성할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 협력적 문제해결 지도를 위한 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to describe the specific process of collaborative problem solving and analyze its characteristics by analyzing cases in which collaborative problem solving occurred successfully. To this end, the results of the personal problem solving of math gifted students were analyzed, and a small group was formed in consideration of their own solutions to observe their cooperative problem solving process. Two characteristics were identified in the collaborative problem-solving process. First, math gifted students were able to understand different perspectives while sharing different solutions and verify their own solutions and the other’s solutions based on them. Second, students were able to reinterpret others’ perspectives and apply them to their own solutions, and in this process, they were able to complete quality solutions that were different from their own solutions as well as the other’s.
