한국판 문제적 음란물 소비 척도(PPCS-K)의 타당화 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 Bőthe 등(2017)이 개발한 문제적 음란물 소비 척도(Problematic Pornography Consumption Scale: PPCS)를 우리말로 번역하고, 신뢰도 및 타당도를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 자료 분석에는 국내 성인남녀 336명의 데이터를 활용하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과, 원 척도와 동일한 위계적 2차 요인모형임을 확인하였다. 본 척도의 전체 신뢰도는 .96으로 양호한 수준을 보였다. 공인 타당도와 수렴 타당도를 검증하기 위해 사이버섹스 중독 검사(CAI), 외로움 척도(UCLA-3)와의 상관관계 분석을 실시하였고, 적절한 수준의 공인 타당도 및 수렴 타당도를 확보하였다. 문제적 음란물 소비 수준에 따른 잠재집단은 세 집단으로 구분하는 것이 가장 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 고위험군을 식별하기 위한 ROC 분석을 실시한 결과, 고위험군을 식별할 수 있는 최적의 절단점은 67점으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 한국판 문제적 음란물 소비 척도가 국내 성인의 문제적 음란물 소비 수준을 측정하기에 신뢰할 만하고 타당한 척도임을 검증하였다. 끝으로, 본 연구의 의의 및 한계, 추후 연구를 위한 제언 등을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to translate and validate the Problematic Pornography Consumption Scale(PPCS; Bőthe et al., 2017). We analyzed 336 Korean adults. We conducted Confirmatory Factor Analysis to test that the original scale factor structure was applied equally to Korean adults. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that it was the same hierarchical secondary structure model as the results of the validation study of the PPCS. Subsequently, the reliability, Concurrent validity, convergent validity of the Korean version of the Problematic Pornography Consumption Scale were verified, and all of them showed appropriate levels of results. We conduct Latent Profile Analysis(LPA) to classify latent groups according to the level of problematic pornography consumption. As a result, it was confirmed that it was appropriate to classify the entire sample into three groups. ROC analysis was conducted to identify the high-risk group, and optimal cut-off point for identifying the high-risk group was confirmed as 67 points. Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that the Korean version of the Problematic Pornography Consumption Scale is reliable and valid scale to measure the problematic pornography consumption level of Korean adults. Finally, implications and limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.
