영문 초록

Although there was no direct damage to the marine insurance market due to COVID-19, the problem is that the entire insurance market suffered a massive loss of $200 billion due to COVID-19. When a large-scale loss occurs in the insurance market, the reinsurance market is bound to suffer. In fact, the reinsurance market is being squeezed as COVID-19 has caused $200 billion in losses in the insurance market. Some reinsurers are also moving to exclude or reduce coverage for losses due to COVID-19. The COVID-19 lockdown has also had a major impact on the London market, a huge insurance market. Due to the economic blow and uncertainties ahead, Lloyd's Board of Directors is announcing a downsizing of its initiative to digitize London's insurance market, which had projected up to £400m of funding. The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in the global marine insurance market, and to present the implications after analyzing the trends in the London marine insurance market based on this.
