국문 초록

분단국가의 현실을 한 문장으로 말한다면 ‘한순간도 부정할 수 없는 군사적 대치와 전쟁의 위협’이라고 할 수 있다. 이런 상황 인식 하에 한국사회와 한국교회는 어떻게 하면 이 불안을 평화로 바꿀 수 있는지 고민하고 노력해야한다. 교회는 개인의 영역뿐만 아니라 가정과 국가의 문제를 포괄하는 공동체적 개념을 가진다. 그러므로 국가적 화해자의 역할을 감당하는 것이 교회가 받은 사명이다. 그러므로 대한민국은 분단국가로 대한민국 위에 세워진 ‘분단국가 교회’라는 정체성을 가지고 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 6.25전쟁 발발 70주년인 올해 남북정상회담과 북미정상회담이 가속화 되고 있으면서도 명확한 결실을 보지 못하고 있는 안타까운 현실 속에서 한반도 통일을 넘어서 체제 통일과 그 이후 통합을 위한 한국교회의 역할에 대하여 논하였다. 연구 방법으로 북한이탈주민 5명을 대상으로 심층면접을 통한 질적 연구방법과 자료 분석을 통한 문헌연구를 병용하였다. 근거 이론으로 푸트넘의 사회적 자본 중 주요 요소인 신뢰와 기독교 신학에서 특별계시로 인정하는 성경을 주요 근거로 사용하였다. 기독교 단체와 한국교회가 현재 노력하고 있는 여러 활동들을 분석하면서 한국에 정착한 북한이탈주민의 진술을 정리하고 분석하는 질적연구방법을 사용하였으며, 체제통일 이후 통합으로 나아가기 위해서 한국교회가 노력해야할 역할과 방향에 대하여 본 연구자의 관점을 가지고 문헌연구방식으로 정리하였다.

영문 초록

To describe the reality of the divided nation in one sentence, it is a “threat of military confrontation and war that cannot be denied for a moment.” Under the perception of the situation, Korean society and the Korean church should consider and try to change this anxiety into peace. The church has a community concept that encompasses not only the domain of the individual but also the problems of the family and the state. Therefore, it is the mission of the church to take on the role of national conciliator. The republic of Korea is a divided nation and it’s the church has the ‘identity of being a divided nation’ built on the Rep. of Korea. This year, the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, while the inter-Korean summit and the U.S.-North Korea summit are accelerating, they do not see clear results. This study discussed the role of the Korean church for the reunification and subsequent integration of the system. As a research method, in-depth interviews with five North Korean defectors were conducted, and the literature research method was employed to analyze the data. The main elements are trust that is one of the key factors for the social capital by Putnam, and bible which is a special revelation in Christian theology. The qualitative research method was used to summarize and analyze the statements of North Korean defectors who settled in Rep. of Korea while analyzing various activities of Christian Organizations and Korean Church. Besides, the role and direction of the Korean church was analyzed to strive for integration after the unification of the system.
