재직자의 내ㆍ외적통제위치가 창업기회인식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 현재 경제발전의 핵심 동력인 창업을 실행하는 창업자의 동기요인을 규명하고자, 창업자 개인의 심리 특성인 통제소재가 창업기회인식에 미치는 영향을 연구한 것이다. 이를 위한 연구 대상으로, 국내에 근무하는 직장인을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 총 217부의 자료를 실증 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 재직자의 통제소재와 창업기회인식을 창업실행을 위한 주요 변인으로 보고 그 영향 관계를 조사한 것이다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 재직자의 심리특성 중 자신의 신념에 관련된 요인인 통제소재는 내적통제소재와 외적통제소재로 나뉘고, 두 가지 요인 모두 창업기회인식에 정(+)의 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창업의도는 내적통제소재와 창업기회인식간에 매개적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 창업의도는 외적통제소재와 창업기회인식간에 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 창업정책 대상에서 소외되어 있던 재직자를 예비창업가(aspiring entrepreuner)로 정의하고, 창업의도와 창업기회인식을 종합적으로 고찰했다는데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of locus of control on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition among the potential aspiring entrepreneurs who work for the company. For this, we empirically analyzed 217 copies of data for Korean office workers. The analysis results of this study are as follows. First, among the psychological characteristics of incumbents, factors related to their beliefs, which are locus of control, affect recognition of start-up entrepreneurship opportunities. Second, entrepreneurship intention had a mediating effect between the internal locus of control and the perception of entrepreneurship opportunity. On the contrary, there was no mediating effect between the external locus of control and the recognition of start-up opportunities. This study is meaningful in that it defines incumbents who have been alienated from the subject of start-up policy as aspiring entrepreneurs, and comprehensively considers entrepreneurial intentions, recognition of start-up entrepreneurship opportunities.
