대학생의 흡연과 취업스트레스, 취업불안, 자아존중감 관련성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 학교생활 적응에 부정적인 영향을 끼치는 흡연과 청년 실업률로 대학생들이 겪는 취업스트레스, 취업불안, 자아존중감이 어떠한 관계가 있는지 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 방법: 본 연구는 서술적 조사연구이며, 대상자는 지방 대학생 172명이었다. 자료수집 기간은 2016년 10월 20일부터 2016년 10월 30일까지였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0 Program을 이용하였다. 결과: 대학생의 흡연 실태는 학년이 높을수록 종교가 있을수록, 불안 및 스트레스가 있을수록 흡연을 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 대상자 중 흡연군은 취업스트레스와 취업불안이 높았으며 자아존중감은 낮게 나타났다. 또한 흡연과 취업스트레스, 취업불안은 양의 상관관계가 있었으며, 자아존중감은 음의 상관관계가 있었다. 결론: 대학생의 취업스트레스와 취업불안, 자아존중감은 흡연에 유의한 관련이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 흡연을 줄이고 취업스트레스, 취업불안을 완화시켜주는 완충요인과 자아존중감을 향상시킬 수 효과적인 대학생활 적응에 필요한 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between smoking that has a negative effect on school adjustment and job-seeking stress, job-seeking anxiety, and self-esteem due to the youth unemployment rate in college students. Methods: This study was a descriptive study and the subjects were 172 college students in local cities. The period of data collection was from October 20 to 30, 2016. The data collected were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 20.0 program. Results: College students’ smoking was higher in higher year, having religion, and having depression and stress. The smoking group of the subjects had high job-seeking stress and anxiety and low self-esteem. Furthermore, smoking were positively correlated with job-seeking stress and job-seeking anxiety but negatively correlated with self-esteem. Conclusions: This study suggests that job-seeking stress, job-seeking anxiety, and self-esteem were significantly associated with smoking in college students. Therefore, this study will provide basic information to develop buffers which can reduce smoking and ease job-seeking stress and anxiety and programs for effective school adjustment which can improve self-esteem.
