발현적 교육에 기반한 숲 체험활동이 유아의 놀이몰입과 용기, 리더십에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 발현적 교육에 기반한 숲 체험활동이 유아의 놀이몰입과 용기, 리더십에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 주요 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 발현적 교육에 기반한 숲 체험활동이 놀이몰입에 미치는 효과를 살펴본 결과, 실험집단과 비교집단 간 전체 놀이몰입과 하위요인인 문제해결과정, 놀이집중, 자의식 상실, 시간이 변형된 느낌에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 유아의 숲 체험활동이 놀이몰입을 향상시키는데 긍정적 영향을 미친 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 유아의 발현적 교육에 기반한 숲 체험활동이 용기에 미치는 효과를 살펴본 결과, 실험집단과 비교집단 간 전체 용기와 하위요인인 신체적 용기, 사회적 용기, 인지적 용기, 심리적 용기의 영역에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 유아의 숲 체험활동이 용기를 형성하는데 긍정적 영향을 미친 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 유아의 발현적 교육에 기반한 숲 체험활동이 리더십의 부분에 미치는 효과를 살펴본 결과, 실험집단과 비교집단 간 전체 리더십과 하위요인인 주도성, 사교성, 민감성, 몰입에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 유아의 숲 체험활동이 리더십을 증진시키는데 긍정적 영향을 미친 것으로 확인되었다. 결과적으로 유아의 숲 체험활동은 기존의 실내중심이 아닌 자연에서 마음껏 뛰어놀면서 오감을 이용하여 숲의 다양한 생명들과 교감하는 과정을 통해 놀이몰입과 용기, 리더십을 함양할 수 있는 가능성을 높이는 것으로 평가할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the effects of forest experience activities based on children's emergent education on children's play flow, courage, and leadership. The main results are presented as follows. First, the effect of forest experience activities based on emergent education of young children on play flow was examined. In covariate analysis, it was found that there were significant differences between the experimental group and the comparison group in play flow (problem-solving process, play concentration, loss of self-consciousness, and feeling that time was changed). Therefore, it can be evaluated that children's forest experience activities have a positive effect on improving play flow. Second, the effect of forest experience activities based on emergent education of young children on courage was examined. In covariate analysis, it was found that there were significant differences in courage (physical courage, social courage, cognitive courage, and psychological courage) between the experimental group and the control group. Therefore, it can be evaluated that children's forest experience activities have a positive effect on forming courage. Third, the effect of forest experience activities based on emergent education of young children on leadership was examined. In covariate analysis, it was found that there were significant differences in leadership (initiative, sociability, sensitivity, and flow) between the experimental group and the comparison group. Therefore, it can be evaluated that children's forest experience activities have a positive effect on enhancing leadership. In summary, it can be evaluated that children's forest experience activities increase the possibility of cultivating play flow, courage, and leadership through the process of communing with various creatures of the forest while playing freely in nature, not in the existing indoor center.
