국문 초록

경찰공무원들이 치안현장에서 범죄문제 등 공공의 안녕과 질서유지를 위해 효과적이고 빠르게 대응응할 수 있도록 도와 줄 수 있는 팀워크 역량의 향상이 절실히 필요하다. 하지만 팀워크는 조직의 발전과 효과적인 운영이 도움이 되는 매우 중요한 요인이지만 경찰학분야에서는 따로 연구가 진행된 것이 희박하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구는 급변하는 사회환경속에서 경찰의 역할이 확대되고 중요시되는 상황에서, 경찰공무원의 팀워크에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고 이 결과를 통하여 팀워크 증진을 위한 정책적 제안을 하고자 한다. 즉 이 연구의 목적은 경찰공무원들을 대상으로 개인의 근무환경과 의사소통의 정도가 조직의 팀워크역량에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증적으로 분석하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 자료를 수집하고 수집된 자료에 대하여 빈도분석, 상관관계, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 연령이 높을수록 의사소통에 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤고 근무환경이 좋을수록, 의사소통이 원활 할수록 경찰공무원의 팀워크에 정(+)적 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 실증적 연구방법을 사용함으로써 조직근무환경과 의사소통의 차이에 따라 경찰공무원의 팀워크에 대한 역량의 차이가 있음을 검증해냄으로써 근무환경, 의사소통, 팀워크 등 관련 후속연구의 활성화를 기대한다.

영문 초록

There is an urgent need to improve teamwork competency that can help police officials respond effectively and quickly to maintain public well-being and order, such as criminal issues, at public safety. However, although teamwork is a very important factor that helps organizational development and effective operation, it is difficult to find such specific studies in the field of criminal justice. This study aims to examines the factors effect the teamwork competency of police officials in a situation where the role of the police in a rapidly changing social environment is expanded and important, and gives policy proposals to improve teamwork through this. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to empirically analyze how much the individual's working environment and degree of communication affect the organization's teamwork competency for police officials. Data were collected, and conducted frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. As a result, it was found that the older the age, the more positive effect was on communication. Also, the better the working environment, and the smoother the communication effect positively on the teamwork of police officials. This study verified that there is a difference in the teamwork of police officials according to the difference in organizational working environment and communication by using empirical research methods. It is expected to revitalize related follow-up studies such as working environment, communication, and teamwork.
