국문 초록

이 연구는 「초혼」의 수용과 확산을 조선시대 지식의 형성과 특징을 중심으로 연구한 논문이다. 「초혼」은 초사 중의 독특한 문체로서 사후세계에 대한 풍부한 상상력과 초나라의 샤머니즘, 그리고 민속 문화가 풍성하게 함의되어 있는 고대 시가문학의 걸작이다. 그런 만큼 이 작품이 함의하고 있는 풍부한 상상력과 수사력은 시가 발전의 토대가 되었고, 그 슬픈 감정의 순수한 정감은 상례의 전범으로 발전하였다. 천당과 지옥의 사후세계에 대한 상상력은 동양 역사상 최초의 창의력이었으며 아름다움의 극치를 보여 주었다. 후대로 오면서 「초혼」은 계속 읽히고 비평되면서 수많은 작품으로 수용되고 확산되면서 최근까지도 초혼의 주제의식은 영화, 대중가요, 시가 등 다양한 문화콘텐츠로 확산되고 있다. 「초혼」은 위대한 문학작품으로 그 위상과 문예미학의 우수성이 입증된 명품이다. 위대한 작품은 수용되고 확산된다. 「초혼」은 조선시대 문인들에 의해 애송되었고, 지식의 형성과 특징을 바탕으로 수용되고 확산되면서 조선의 만사에 초혼 의 문구가 없으면 시가 이루어지지 않을 정도로 다양하게 수용되고 있었다. 초혼 은 다양한 장르에 수용되고 확산되면서 조선의 문학 속에 앙금처럼 녹아서 영롱하게 그 빛을 발하고 있었다.
