국문 초록

본 연구는 학급에서 학생의 문제행동으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 교사들에게 도움을 주고, 궁극적으로는 학생들의 행동과 학업의 성장을 이끌어줄 수 있는 교사지원 방법을 알아보기 위하여 다양한 교사지원 방법을 살펴보고 우리 교육현장에서의 시사점을 모색해 보고자 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 1995년부터 2012년까지 국외 학술지에 게재된 15편의 연구를 선정하고 연구대상과 실험설계, 교사지원 방법, 종속변인, 연구결과, 사회적 타당도 등의 범주에 근거하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 보면 교사연수만을 실시했을 때 교사들의 지식은 증가하였으나 교실에서의 수행이 크게 달라지지 않았다. 그러나 전문가가 교사와 교실 상황에 맞는 개별 지원을 함께 제공했을 때 교사가 중재를 정확하게 수행하는 수준이 크게 향상되었다. 사회적 타당도를 살펴보았을 때 학생에 대한 중재나 교사에게 제공되는 지원에 대해 교사가 긍정적으로 받아들일 때 교사의 중재 수행수준이 향상되었고 중재가 종료된 이후에도 지속적으로 중재를 적용하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 우리나라 교육현장에서의 시사점이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article was to examine various teacher support methods that can help teachers deal with students’behavioral problems and eventually can lead to students’ behavioral and academical growth. To do so, this study analysed various teacher supporting methods of teacher supports in detail to suggest implications for the educational field in Korea. Fifteen journal articles published from 1995 to 2012 were selected and analysed in terms of research designs, research participants, teacher support methods, dependent variables, the results, and social validities. The results showed that teacher’ level of knowledge increased when the research delivered teacher conference only. However, in this case, the teachers’performance in their class did not show meaningful difference. In contrast, when the professionals provided teachers with individualized supports customized to each teachers’needs, the teachers’accuracy in delivering intervention was significantly enhanced. In terms of social validity, teachers’treatment integrity was significantly enhanced when teachers felt the intervention was acceptable. In this case, teachers continued to use the intervention even after the research was completed. Based on the results of this research, implications for the educational practices in Korea were discussed.
