영문 초록

This article portrays G.D. Watson’s life and works as a Sevenfold spiritfilled evangelist and theologian, soul saver, a faithful and praying man, a lifelong Bible student, a great preacher, an inspirational writer, and someone who links the gospel to the world. Based on this portrait of Watson, this article introduces three characteristics about him as follows: (1) Watson’s Full or Manifold Gospel as Sevenfold Spiritual Overcomings: The Regeneration, Divine Healing, filling of the Spirit, Life of the Shining Light, Testimony, and Service, Temple Key Leadership, and the Second Coming of Jesus. Watson’s holiness theology is internally Spirit-experienced and externally a righteous lifestyle. (2) He has deeply exerted on the Influence of the Full Gospel of The Korea Holiness Church (the KHC) as his manifold roles: being representative of the IAHC to the KHC, a constitution and ceremony manual drafter, a holiness revival speaker and teacher, an author, field planter, co-worker, supporter, and mentor for Holiness-Pentecostal believers, missions, and churches globally. (3) He had a remarkable gift for illuminating the Scriptures and was unsurpassed as a Bible expositor of the Holiness gospel. His style of preaching and teaching and trusted all who were arresting the attention of the unsaved and imparting holiness lessons and comfort to Bible students and sanctified Christians of all ages (out of text).
