고등학교 교사가 지각한 과정중심평가에 대한 Borich 요구 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 고등학교 교사가 지각한 과정중심평가에 대한 실행도와 요구도를 파악함으로써 과정중심평가에 대한 정책적 시사점을 도출하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 부산광역시 일반계 고등학교에 근무하는 교사 334명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 먼저 고등학교 교사가 과정중심 평가에 대한 요구도와 실행도 간 차이를 크게 인지하고 있는지 살펴보기 위해 대응표본 t-검정을 실시하였으며, 과정중심평가를 실행하는데 우선적으로 요구하는 내용들이 무엇인가를 도출하기 위해 Borich 요구도와 LF 모델을 적용하였다. 도출된 연구결과 첫째, 과정중심평가에 대한 고등학교 교사의 요구도와 실행도는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 과정중심평가에 대한 요구가 높은 부분은 과정중심평가를 다면적 평가하는 것으로 이해, 결과를 도출하는 수업을 실행, 수행평가를 활용하여 학습의 과정도 함께 평가, 동료 교사와 협업하여 평가도구 개발, 평가결과를 학생에게 제공임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 과정중심평가를 시행하는데 있어 실질적인 우선순위를 통해 어떠한 부분이 개발 및 보완해야 하는지에 대한 시사점과 향후 관련된 교육프로그램의 방향에 대한 기초자료가 되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the needs and implementation of process-based assessment as perceived by high school teachers. To this end, data were collected from 334 teachers working at high schools in Busan Metropolitan City. A Paired T-test was conducted to see if the high school teachers were largely aware of the difference between the demand and the degree of implementation of the process-based assessment. The Borich Needs and the LF model were also applied. The research results were as follow. First, there was a statistically significant difference in the high school teacher s demand and performance for the process-based Assessment. Second, the high demand regarding process-based assesment were multi-faceted evaluation of process-based assessment, execution of lessons that derive results, evaluation of the learning process using performance assessment, and development of evaluation tools in collaboration with fellow teachers. Based on the results and implications of this study, practical priorities in implementing process-based assessment are expected to serve as basic data for the direction of related education programs.
