우리나라 소방용품 시장 예측모형에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 소방용품 시장은 건축 물량으로부터 파생되는 수요적인 특성이 있으며 계절적으로도 그 양상이다르다는 점을 감안하여 계절형 ARIMA 모형과 전이함수 모형을 활용한 소방용품 시장규모 예측모형을 설정하고그 예측력을 검증해 보는 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 소방용품 시장은 계절적 특성을 보유하고 있으며 건축경기에 후행적 성격을 가지는 것을 통계적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 적합한 예측모형으로는 대표적 시계열 모형인계절형 ARIMA 모형도 의미가 있지만 단기 예측 기간에는 건축경기와 연계한 전이함수 예측모형이 더욱 유용하다는검증 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 본 연구는 우리나라 소방용품 시장규모에 대한 최초의 통계적 예측 연구라는 점에서의미가 있다. 본 연구에서 실행한 소방용품산업의 구조적 특성을 고려한 건축인허가 물량과 소방용품 물량을 연계한전이함수 모형을 통하여 향후 소방용품산업 정책 결정 및 소방용품 제조기업의 마케팅 의사결정 과정에 보다 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

The market size of the firefighting supplies industry is can be considered a derivative demand of the constructionindustry, and its patterns differ seasonally. In this study, the seasonal ARIMA model and the transfer function model wereestablished, and their predictive performances were verified. It was statistically confirmed that the firefighting suppliesmarket has a lagging character in the construction industry. Although the seasonal ARIMA model, a representativetime-series model, is a suitable predictive model, the transfer function model linked to the construction market is moreuseful in the short-term forecast period. This study is the first statistical prediction study of the firefighting supplies marketin Korea. Based on the structural characteristics of the firefighting supplies industry, the relationship between the buildingpermit and firefighting supplies production should be established using the transfer function model, the transfer functionmodel is more useful in the decision-making process of firefighting supplies policies and the manufacturer’s marketing.
