국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 장애인의 차별경험이 우울에 미치는 영향과 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 검증하고자 한다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 2017년에 한국보건사회연구원이 조사한 한국복지패널 12차년도 패널자료를 사용하였으며, 연구목적에 맞는 597명의 자료를 추출하여 최종 분석 자료로 활용하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 연구대상의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 변수들의 특징을 분석한 결과, 장애인의 차별경험 횟수는 여성, 10대, 전문대졸 이상, 시각장애와 청각장애, 상위등급의 장애인이 가장 많았다. 우울정도는 여성, 50대, 초등 졸업 이하, 뇌병변 장애, 상위등급의 장애인이 가장 높았다. 사회적 지지는 여성, 20대, 전문대졸 이상, 뇌병변 장애, 하위등급장애인이 가장 많이 받고 있었다. 둘째, 장애인의 차별경험, 우울, 사회적 지지도는 유의한 상관이 있었으며, 차별경험이 많을수록 우울수준이 높아지고 사회적 지지 수준은 낮아지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 장애인의 차별경험은 우울수준에 영향을 미치지는 않았지만, 사회적 지지는 차별경험이 우울에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 따뜻한 공동체 형성을 통해 장애수용의 강화와 사회적 지지를 증진시키기 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of discrimination on the individual with disabilities on depression and the moderating effects of social support. Method: The panel data of the 12th year of the Korea Welfare Panel surveyed by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KHI) in 2017 were used for this purpose, and 597 data for the study were extracted and used as final data. Results: First, the characteristics of the variables according to the sociodemographic characteristics of the subjects were analyzed. As the results, the most frequent cases of discrimination were women, 10s, professional college graduates, and blind and hearing impaired, The degree of depression was highest among women, 50s, elementary school graduates, brain lesion disorder, and the highest grade disabled. Social support was highest among women, 10s, professional college graduates, brain lesion disorders, and low grade disabled people. Second, the experiences of discrimination, depression, and social support of the disabled were significant, and the more experience of discrimination, the higher level of depression and the lower level of social support. Third, the experiences of discrimination against the individual with disabilities did not affect the level of depression, but the social support moderated the effect of discrimination on depression. Conclusion: Based on the above results, the study discussed the ways to enhance the acceptance of disability and social support through the formation of Ddadeutan(warm) community.
