아동용 장애 평가 척도의 신뢰도 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 중, 고등학교 지체장애학교에 재학 중인 뇌성마비 학생을 중심으로 아동용 장애 평가 척도의 신뢰도를 알아보았다. 아동용 장애 평가 척도는 기능적 기술, 보호자의 도움 그리고 조정/변경의 정도의 세 가지 하위영역으로 구성되어 있고, 각각은 신변처리, 이동하기, 사회적 기능의 세부영역으로 구성되어 있다. 신뢰도 산출을 위해 지체장애학교 중, 고등학교 과정에 재학 중인 뇌성마비 학생 18명에 대해 교사 2인과 보호자 1인이 각각 평가하고 이 결과를 분석하였다. 아동용 장애 평가 척도 하위영역의 각각의 세부영역에 대한 문항내적합치도를 알아본 결과, 기능적 기술 영역의 사회적 기능을 제외한 모든 하위영역에서 .90이상의 높은 문항내적합치도를 보여 신뢰할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 각 세부영역에 대한 측정자간 신뢰도를 알아본 결과, 기능적 기술 영역의 경우 교사 1과 보호자간 신뢰도에서 사회적 기능을 제외하고 모든 하위영역에서 .90 이상의 신뢰도를 보였다. 그러나 아동용 장애 평가 척도에서 보호자의 도움과 조정/변경의 정도 영역은 신뢰도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 뇌성마비 학생을 대상으로 기능적 기술을 측정하는데 있어 아동용 장애 평가 척도는 신뢰할 수 있는 평가도구라 할 수 있으나, 보호자의 도움과 조정/변경의 정도 영역에서는 검사의 측정자간 신뢰도를 높이는 방안이 강구되어야 할 필요가 있을 것으로 생각된다

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was planned to determine the reliability of the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory (PEDI) for functional measurement in children with cerebral palsy. Twenty children with CP (14 males, 4 females), the mean age for the children was 16.83 (SD = 0.99). The PEDI has been developed to identify functional status and change along three dimensions: Functional Skills, Caregiver Assistance, and Modifications. Completion of the PEDI yields information in the domains of self-care, mobility,and social functions with more specific information on the nine sub-domains. The PEDI were administered as a teacher or parental-report questionnaire. The inter-item consistency (Cronbach s coefficient alpha) for the symptoms items, among teacher1, teacher2 and parent, demonstrating adequate reliability of the measure. The interrater reliability was determined by paired comparisons of the three raters measurements. The inter reliability of the scales were evaluated by Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). According to ICC scores, interrater reliability of Functional Skills domain were good. ICC of Caregiver Assistance and Modifications were varied. The PEDI was considered reliable for assessing the impact of a clinical evaluation of functional capabilities, performance and changes in functional skills in children with cerebral palsy. But the researches on analysis of psychometric properties about functional measurement in children with cerebral palsy will be needed for utility of this tools.
