中國 西安 보존유적의 관리 및 활용 방안에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중국의 역사문화도시 서안의 보존유적지에 대한 현황 고찰과 활용 사례를 살펴보고, 이를 기반으로 향후 국내 발굴 유적지 보존에 대한 논의의 기초연구자료로서의 활용하고자 한다. 조사 대상은 중국 서안에 위치한 大唐西市박물관, 漢陽陵地下박물관, 西安半坡박물관, 秦始皇兵馬俑박물관 총4개의 유적박물관으로 내외부에 위치한 보존유적과 유물, 보호각에 대해 조사, 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 국내와는 다른 중국의 매장문화재 현지 보존 원칙과 보호각 건축 및 설계에도 많은 시간과 공간, 예산, 인력 등이 필요하기 때문에 국가차원의 철저한 행정관리가 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 주기적인 관리 및 점검을 통한 지속적인 보수작업과 정비체계가 필요하며, 이러한 시스템이 구축되어 진다면 관람객이 파손된 상태의 문화유산을 관람하지 않고 또한 보존유적의 수명도 늘릴 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 또한 장기적인 관점에서 관람객의 수도 증가할 것으로 예상되며, 새롭게 구축되는 보존유적에 대한 관리방안 노하우가 축적될 수 있다고 판단된다. 셋째, 본래의 기능과는 다르게 다양한 원인으로 관람 방해 요소, 유구의 손상, 구조적 안전 문제 등의 문제점에 노출되어있는 보호각 설계 시스템의 개선을 위해 국가 차원에서의 R&D, 국제적 공동연구 등을 통해 인문학과 첨단과학이 융합하는 연구결과물들이 필요하다고 판단된다. 이러한 요구사항들의 개선을 통해 보다 정확한 정보를 전달하고 안전한 관람, 유구의 항구적 보존 등이 이루어지고 체계적인 보존·관리와 더불어 다양한 활용 효과가 더해진다면 발굴 조사를 통해 세상에 알려진 소중한 문화유산의 존재가 더욱 빛을 낼 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of conservation sites and use cases of Xi an, a Chinese historical and cultural city, and to use them as basic research materials for future discussions on preservation of domestic excavation sites. A total of four historical museums Datang Xishi Museum, Hanyang Mausoleum Museum, Xi’an Banpo Museum, Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum in Xi an, China, were investigated and researched on preserved relics, artifacts and cutoff angles. First of all, it is believed that thorough administrative management at the national level will be necessary because local preservation principles of buried cultural properties and cutoff angle construction and design require a lot of time, space, budget, and manpower. Second, a continuous repair work and maintenance system is required through periodic management and inspection, and if such a system is established, Visitors may view cultural heritage in its intact state, not in its damaged state and will also be able to extend the life of the preserved relics. In addition, the number of visitors is expected to increase from a long-term perspective, and know-how on management of newly built conservation relics can be accumulated. Third, unlike the original functions, it is necessary to combine humanities and advanced science through national R&D and international joint research to improve the cutoff angle design system, which is exposed to problems such as obstruction of viewing, damage to relics, and structural safety. If these requirements are improved, it is expected to convey more accurate information, secure viewing, and permanent preservation of the relics. In addition, if systematic preservation and management are combined with various utilization effects, the existence of precious cultural heritages known to the world will be more shining through existing excavation surveys.
