국문 초록

우리나라에서 발생되는 근골격계질환으로 인한 업무상질병자 중 발생 비중이 가장 큰 것은 요통임에도 불구하고 현행 근골격계질부담작업 유해요인조사 제도에서는 대부분의 요통 발생형태가 근골격계부담작업 범위에 포함되지 않아 원인 조사 및 작업환경 개선에 대한 조사 대상에서 제외되고 있다. 이로 인해 요통으로 인한 근골격계질환은 여전히 발생율이 높게 나타나고 있으며 실질적인 예방활동으로 이어지지 않는 문제점이 있다. 요통의 재발방지 및 예방을 위해 유해요인을 파악하고 작업환경 개선을 위한 근골겨계부담작업 유해요인조사 실시방법을 제시하는 것은 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 최근 20년간 산업재해 통계자료를 바탕으로 근골격계질환 발생 현황 및 추이를 파악하고, 요통을 예방하기 위한 현행 산업안전보건법 상의 제도 및 국외기준을 비교하였으며, 그리고 요통 발생의 위험성 평가에 대한 선행연구 결과와 유사제도를 비교·분석하여 현행 제도의 문제점과 개선 방안을 검토하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 요통으로 인한 근골격계질환 발생 시 수시유해요인조사 실시 방법에 대한 개선(안)을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

Low back pain has been the largest proportion of occupational diseases caused by musculoskeletal disorders in Korea. Nevertheless, most current patterns of low back pain have not included in the scope of musculoskeletal burden tasks. It is excluded from both an investigation for cause investigation and improvement of the working environment. Because of these, musculoskeletal diseases caused by low back pain still have a high incidence, and there are still many problems that do not lead to practical preventive activities. To prevent the recurrence of low back pain, it is important to identify the harmful factors and to present the method of conducting the risk assessments for musculoskeletal burden tasks to improve the working environments. In this study, the current status and trends of musculoskeletal disorders were analyzed based on industrial accident statistics for the past 20 years. Besides, the current Occupational Safety and Health Act and international standards were compared to prevent low back pain. Also, the results of previous studies on the risk assessment of low back pain and similar systems were compared and analyzed to examine the problems and good ways to improve the current system. Based on the results of the study, the following suggestions were made for the method of investigating the risk assessment of musculoskeletal disorders in the case of musculoskeletal disorders caused by low back pain.
