고령친화산업으로 본 노인스포츠시장의 경제적 가치 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 본격적인 고령화 시대를 맞이하여 고령친화산업으로서 노인 스포츠의 현황을 살펴보고, 앞으로 시장으로서 그 가능성과 활성화 방안을 모색해 보고자하였다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 한국의 노인의 스포츠 참여 실태를 살펴보았고, ‘노인스포츠의 경제적 가치’, ‘고령친화산업의 성장가능성’, ‘새로운 소비계층으로서 뉴실버의 등장’이란 세 가지 측면에서 ‘고령친화산업으로서 노인 스포츠시장의 경제적 가치’를 분석하였다. 논의된 현황 및 결과를 바탕으로 도출해낸 고령친화 스포츠산업의 활성화 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 스포츠활동 참여율 제고, 두 번째, 다양한 프로그램 개발 및 보급, 세 번째, 노인 스포츠의 정부 지원 확충, 네 번째, 노인스포츠를 위한 경로우대 제도 도입, 다섯 번째, 노인 스포츠 전문가 양성 및 배치, 여섯 번째, 노인스포츠 활동 참가 홍보 및 강화, 일곱 번째, U-City의 부가서비스 활용이다. 고령친화산업으로서 노인스포츠는 스포츠산업이란 경제적 측면으로서의 기대 뿐 아니라 노인복지에도 크게 기여하는 결과를 가져올 것이다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study are to find the present situation of the elderly sport in accordance with the senior facilitating industry, and to evaluate the possibility and promoting strategies for the market. To meet the purposes of this study, the researcher examined the senior sports participating situation and analysed the economic value of the elderly sports market in accordance with the senior facilitating industry in three aspects such as the economic value of senior sports , the growth possibility of the senior facilitating industry, and the appearance of the new-silver as the consumer class. The specific results of this study are as follows: first, raising the sports participating rate of the elderly, second, development and supply the diverse program, third, expanding the governmental support for the senior sport, fourth, introduction of the favorable treatment for the senior sport, fifth, training and arrangement of the senior sport professionals, sixth, public relation and reinforcement of the senior sport participation, and seventh, utilization of the value-added service of the U-City. The elderly sport as the senior facilitating industry will contribute to the welfare for the elderly as well as the economic value for the sport industry.
