유류오염유출사고로 인한 태안해안국립공원 탐방객 및 일반국민의 인식변화(2008년~2018년)

국문 초록

본 연구는 태안해안국립공원의 잠재적 방문자인 일반국민과 실제적 방문자인 공원 탐방객을 대상으로 유류오염사고로 인한 인식의 변화를 파악하고 태안해안국립공원의 방문객 증대를 위한 방안을 제시하고자 실시되었다. 2008년, 2011년, 2013년, 2016년, 2018년 총 5회, 10년에 걸쳐 조사한 결과, 태안해안국립공원의 방문을 통해 직접적으로 인지하는 탐방객들의 인식은 점차 긍정적으로 변화하고 있음을 알 수 있었고 탐방객들의 탐방경험에 대한 만족도 또한 향상되는 추세를 나타내고 있었다. 일반국민 역시 시간이 지날수록 유류오염사고가 탐방결정에 미치는 부정적 영향은 감소하였고, 유류오염사고로 인한 피해복구 정도에 대한 긍정적인 인식은 증가하는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 태안해안국립공원에 방문경험이 있는 국민일수록, 일반국민보다는 탐방객일 경우 유류오염유출사고에 대해 더욱 긍정적인 인식을 형성하고 있으므로 태안지역의 관광객 증대는 사고복구에 대한 정보전달과 태안해안국립공원의 이미지 회복에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 유류오염유출사고 피해복구에 의한 해양생태계 및 해수수질 회복 수준 등에 대한 적극적인 홍보활동이 필요하며, 방문객 유치를 위한 토탈 마케팅의 도입, 특히 재방문객들의 만족도 제고를 위한 서비스 환경의 지속적인 개선이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to identify changes in perception caused by oil pollution accidents and suggest ways to increase the number of visitors to Taeanheaan National Park. The survey over 10 years, conducted five times in 2008, 2011, 2013, 2016 and 2018, showed that the awareness of the visitors directly recognized through visits to Taeanheaan National Park was gradually changing positively, and that the satisfaction of the visitors experience was also showing an increasing trend. The general public also found that the negative effects of oil pollution accidents on exploration decisions decreased over time, and that positive perception of the extent of damage recovery caused by oil pollution accidents increased. In addition, the more people who have visited Taeanheaan National Park, the more positive their perception of oil pollution accidents incidents is, if they are visitors than the general public, the more tourists in Taean area are thought to have a direct impact on information transmission of accident recovery and restoration of the image of Taeanheaan National Park. Therefore, active promotion activities on marine ecosystems and level of recovery of sea water quality by restoration of damage from oil pollution spill are needed, and continuous improvement of service environment is required to introduce total marketing to attract visitors, especially to enhance satisfaction of visitors.
