다수사상자 발생 재난 현장에서 선착구급대의 임시현장응급의료소에 대한 인식에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 다수사상자 발생 재난 현장에서 선착구급대의 임시현장응급의료소에 관한 인식을 조사하여 구급대원의 재난 대응 역량을 진단하고 운영 및 필요성에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 울산 소방본부 119 상황실 구급의료지도 의사 및 산하 5개 소방서의 구급대원을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과 다수사상자 발생 재난 현장 출동 빈도는 77.9% 이상이 최소 1회 이상 출동하였다고 응답하였으나, 임시현장응급의료소 설치 및 운영 빈도는 31.5%로 확인되었다. 중증도 분류에 대한 인식도는 근무연수(F = 3.455, p = .009), 직위(F = 3.955, p = .004)에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 재난의료대응체계에 대한 인식도는 계급(F = 5.299, p = .002), 근무연수(F = 5.575, p = .000), 나이(F = 3.420, p = .018), 직위(F = 3.114, p = .016)에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 임시현장응급의료소에 대한 인식도는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 구급대원들은 재난 관련 전문교육을 받지 않은 비율이 높았지만 전문교육이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 선착구급대의 효율적인 임시현장응급의료소 운영을 위하여 이론 교육과 현장 실습이 병행된 다양한 관련 전문교육 과정을 개발하고 실시하여 많은 구급대원들에게 교육의 기회가 제공되어야 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to identify the need for the operation of temporary field emergency medical centers (TFEMC) by paramedics on a first-come-first-served basis at disaster sites where mass casualties occurred. The survey was conducted on 119 emergency doctors and paramedics from five fire departments under the Ulsan City Fire Department. More than 77.9% of the paramedics surveyed had been dispatched for the handling of many casualties at least once, but only 31.5% of them had experienced the establishment and operation of TFEMC. Awareness of triage showed a significant difference according to work career (F = 3.455, p = .009) and assigned work (F = 3.955, p = .004). Awareness of the disaster medical response system was significantly different according to rank (F = 5.299, p = .002), work career (F = 5.575, p = .000), age (F = 3.420, p = .018), and assigned work (F = 3.114, p = .016). There was no statistically significant difference in the awareness regarding TFEMCs. Most of the paramedics answered that they had not received mass casualty-focused education and that they needed related professional education. Therefore, for the efficient operation of TFEMCs managed by paramedics on a first-come-first-served basis, it is necessary to develop and implement various related professional training courses that combine theoretical training and field practice regarding the operation of TFEMCs, thus providing many paramedics an opportunity for education.
