한국셉테드학회 연구 경향의 실증적 분석

국문 초록

한국셉테드학회는 2010년 창립한 이후 지난 10년 간 도시 및 건축 환경의 개선을 통해서 효과적으로 범죄를 예방할 수 있는 다양한 연구 활동을 진행했다. 그 결과 학회에서는 116편의 논문을 발간했고, 한국셉테드의 학문적 발전에 이바지했다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국 셉테드학회가 10년이 되는 시점에서 본 학회의 116편의 논문을 분석하여, 향후 학회가 지향해야 할 방향에 대해서 탐색적으로 논의하였다. 본 연구는 116편의 논문을 주제어(제목 및 주제어), 연구자의 특성(성별, 전공, 소속기관, 신분, 단독 및 공동연구), 논문 인용 지수, 연구방법론으로 유형화하고, 그 특징을 분석했다. 분석 결과에 따르면, 주제어는 ‘범죄’ 및 ‘범죄예방을 위한 공간’, ‘상황’, ‘특성’에 대한 연구를 중심으로 연관어가 형성되어 있다. 즉, 본 학회가 나아갈 연구주제가 안정적으로 이루어졌다고 볼 수 있다. 연구자의 특성에서는 남성 연구자, 공동연구, 교수나 대학원생, 경찰학/범죄학, 건축/설계/디자인, 도시공학 등으로 특성이 나타났다. 창간 이후 발간된 논문 인용 지수는 평균 1 이상을 유지하고 있다. 연구방법론에서는 2017년 이후 질적연구의 비율이 높아지고 있다. 이런 분석 결과를 근거로 하여, 향후 한국 셉테드학회와 학회지 발전을 위해서는 다음과 같이 제언을 논의할 수 있다. 우선, 연구주제는 포괄적으로 본 학회가 지향하는 방향으로 제시되고 있으나, 이와 관련한 연관주제의 다양성을 고민할 필요가 있다. 다음으로, 연구자의 특성에서 나타났듯이, 여성 연구자의 참여방안이다. 또한 한국 셉테드학회는 다학제적이고 융합적인 연구성격을 반영하였기 때문에 다양한 기관과 여러 전공자 등 참여하는 홍보방안이 요구된다. 마지막으로 인용 지수를 증대시키는 방안이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION has conducted various research activities to effectively prevent crime through improvement of urban and architectural environment over the past decade. As a result, The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION published 116 journal of the Korea CPTED and contributed to the academic development of the Korean CPTED. Therefore, this study analyzed 116 journal published at The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION and discussed the future direction The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION. This study categorized 116 papers into subject words (title and subject words), characteristics of researchers (gender, major, affiliated institutions, status, single and joint research), citation index of papers, and research methodology, and analyzed their characteristics. According to the analysis results, the main words are formed mainly on the study of crime , space for crime prevention , situation , and characteristics . In other words, the research theme of The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION is stable. The characteristics of the researcher were male researchers, joint research, professors and graduate students, police studies/criminology, architecture/design, and urban engineering. The citation index of the journal published since its index has remained above average of 1, the rate of qualitative research has been increasing since 2017. Based on the results of this analysis, the following suggestions can be discussed for the development of The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION and the journal in the future. First, the research theme is presented in a comprehensive direction for The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION, but it is necessary to consider the diversity of related topics. Next, as shown in the characteristics of the researcher, it is a plan for participation of female researchers. In addition, since The KOREA CPTED ASSOCIATION reflects the multidisciplinary and convergent research personality, it is necessary to promote various institutions and various majors. Finally, it is required to increase the quotation index.
