영문 초록

Social media is a powerful communication tool and collaboration method. This study looks forward to searching ways to utilize social media effectively in government. Thus, This article explored and compared foreign governments social media guidelines and policy with Korean government organizations. And then this study compared social media accounts and web page style in foreign government departments with Korean government departments and agencies. Finally, This recommend alternative to foster social media influence. At First, Korean departments/agencies should set adequate social media user guidelines, guidebook and social media policy. These infra will expedite social media use in central government and local government. Secondly, department/agencies should encourage its sub-department and sub-agencies to create social media accounts and use actively. Thirdly, Governments will try to make webpage format more social-media-friendly. These social-media friendly webpage will make users to share informations in government homepage.
