새로운 물리교수법 강의를 통한 예비물리교사들의 ‘좋은’ 과학수업관련 인식의 변화

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 ‘좋은’ 과학수업을 지향하는 물리교수법 강의에 참여한 학생들의 ‘좋은’ 과학수업에 대한 인식이 어떻게 변화하였는지를 알아보았다. 본 연구의 자료로는 기초설문지, 주간보고서, 반성적실천기록지, 예비교사와의 개별면담 등이 활용되었다. 연구결과, 본 연구에 참여한 6명의 예비교사들의 ‘좋은’ 과학수업에 대한 인식의 변화는 두 가지 유형으로 나타났다. 먼저, 실존적 관심(배움을 사랑)과 수업요소 간의 통합을 ‘좋은’ 과학수업의 특징으로 분명하게 인식한 네 명의 예비교사들은 수업실습 이후에도 계속 발전하거나 설령 회귀하는 모습을 보이더라도 계속 발전적인 고민을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, ‘좋은’ 과학수업에 관한 인식이 학기 중반에 수업요소 간의 부분적 연결(혹은 분리)과 소유/호기심 수준에 머문 두 명의 예비교사들은 학기 말 수업실습 이후에도 인식의 수준이 학기 초와 크게 달라지지 않았다. 본 논문의 연구결과를 바탕으로 사범대학 및 부설학교에서 실행 중인 예비교사 교육의 개선 방향에 대하여 논의한다.

영문 초록

In this research, we present the changes in recognition of the ‘good’ science teaching of pre-services teachers who participated in the physics teaching method course which is aiming at ‘good’ science teaching. Primary questionnaires, weekly reports, reflective writings and individual interviews with pre-service teachers were utilized as methods for collecting data. The research result shows that there are two types of changes in recognition of the ‘good’ science teaching. The first group contains four pre-service teachers who strongly recognized the existential interest (love to learn) and the integrity of teaching elements as the characteristics of ‘good’ science teaching. They showed the aspects of gradual growing or put constructive efforts after the teaching practice period even if they showed the aspects of return to the initial state. On the other hand, two pre-service teachers (the second group) showed no remarkable changes in recognition after the teaching practice at the end of the course. They adhered to the interest of possession/curiosity and the partial connection among teaching elements as the characteristics of ‘good’ science teaching at the middle of the course. Based on the research results, we discuss on the improvement plan of college of education and schools attached to the college.
