국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 현 캄보디아 고등교육 현황을 이해하고, 정보 공유 플랫폼 을 통한 고등교육 기회 확대에 기여하고자 한다. 연구의 중요성: ‘고등교육에 대한 정보 격차’가 고등교육의 기회를 불평등하 게 만드는 요인 중 하나로 판단하였고 이를 해결하게 위해 고등교육 정보 제공 플랫폼을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 고등교육에 대한 접근성을 높이는 데 기여하고, 고등교육에 대한 정보 격차를 해소하고 고등교육 기회의 불평등을 개선한다. 연구방법론: 본 연구는 문헌연구과 사례 분석을 통해 진행했다. 이를 위해 고등교육 접근성이 낮은 캄보디아를 선정하였고, 관련 면담과 설문자료를 활용 했다. 연구결과: 본 연구에서는 고등교육의 필요성, 장학금 제도, 시설 제원 제도, 도시생활, 전공, 진로설계등에관한내용을다루는플랫폼개발을위한프레 임워크를 제시한다. 현지 기반 연구에 의하면 캄보디아 고등교육 접근성에 있 어서 성별에 따른 불평등 보다는 경제적 여건과 지역간 차이가 더 심각한 문제 로 거론되었다. 결론 및 시사점: 현지에서 졸업생, 재학생, 고등학교 졸업생을 대상으로 연구 한 결과, 효과적인 정보 전달 플랫폼이 유용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 사용자들 의 필요를 충분히 경청함으로써, 다양한 정보를 통합한 접근하기 쉬운 플랫폼 에적합한요소를파악할수있었다. 이를기반으로한플랫폼은학생들이서로 정보를 공유하는 요소를 포함함으로써 캄보디아의 ‘모든 사람을 대상으로 포용 적이며 잘 높은 교육을 보장하고 평생 동안의 학습을 장려’하는 것을 목적으로 하는 지속가능발전목표 4번째 목표인 양질의 교육(Quality Education) 달성에 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This project aims to promote equality in higher education through facilitation of information sharing in Cambodia. Originality: Although the importance of higher education has been emphasized all over the world as a driving force of economic development, higher education in Cambodia still needs improvement, as shown by the low take-up rate reported by UNESCO. Methodology: This study examines how to reduce inequality of opportunity and enhance accessibility in higher education in Cambodia through mixed methods approach, using both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Result: Therefore, this paper provides a framework for the development of an online information-sharing platform about higher education and ultimately to contribute to the achievement of 4th Sustainable Development Goal on Quality Education. Survey results indicate that respondents perceived regional inequality in higher education to be more serious than gender inequality. The economic burden was another obstacle that hinders pursuing higher education. Conclusions and Implication: The development of an accessible information-sharing platform to address the inequality of opportunity in higher education was shown to have potential to reduce lack of information caused by geographical and economic factors. An integrative platform will be developed to contain information about scholarship programs, majors, related career paths, and living facilities. This study provides background user analysis research to empathize deeply with users, rather than focusing on just the solution delivery. Going forward, the platform may be the main element of a virtuous reinforcing feedback loop, through which students themselves share information with others within the platform.
