환상그림책 관련 논문의 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 그림책의 장르 중에서 환상그림책을 주제로 한 논문을 선정하여 그 연구동향을 분석하였다. 연구대상은 2010년부터 10년 동안 등재지에 게재된 환상그림책 관련 논문 45편으로 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 환상그림책 관련 논문의 연구내용은 그림책 자체분석, 유아의 반응연구, 그림책을 활용한 활동으로 나타났다. 구체적 내용으로는 등장인물의 성격(심리상태, 자아개념, 어린이 이미지, 성인 이미지, 도덕성, 포스트휴먼), 등장인물의 관계성(갈등, 친구관계, 가족, 소외), 플랏(구조분석, 결말분석), 배경(공간), 유머, 그림의 심미적 요소, 기호해석, 환상과 현실의 경계 등으로 나타났다. 둘째, 앤서니 브라운의 그림책이 가장 많이 사용되었고, 존 버닝햄, 레오 리오니, 백희나, 모리스 샌닥 등의 순서로 나타났으며, 깊은밤 부엌에서, 괴물들이 사는 나라, 돼지책이 가장 많이 사용되었다. 자료수집은 문헌, 실험법이 많았으며, 자료분석은 내용분석, 차이점증, 질적분석으로 나타났다. 환상성을 가진 그림책에 대한 이해를 돕고, 새로운 분야의 연구주제를 도출하는 기초자료로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study was to analyze the trends of the research on fantasy picture books. specifically. This paper reviewed 45 research on fantasy picture books published between 2010 and 2019. First, the results showed that the content of the previous studies were ‘the picture book self-analysis’, ‘the responses by children’ and ‘activities related to picture books’. Specifically, previous studies were about the personality(psycho-mentality, self-awareness, the image of kids, the image of adults, morality, and post human), relationships between characters(conflicts and solutions, friendship, family, and isolation), plot(an analysis of structure, and the ending), background(space), humors, the element of aesthetic picture, semiotic interpretation, and the boundary between fantasy and the reality. Secondly, the books written by Anthony Browne were used the most. The books written by John Burningham, Leo Lionni, Baek hee-na, Maurice Senda appeared in order. The books used the most were as follows: ‘In the night kitchen’, ‘Where the wild things’, ‘Piggy book’, ‘the Tunnel’, ‘Mr Gumpy’s Outing’, ‘Swimmy’, and ‘Cloud Bread’. There were more qualitative studies than quantitative studies. The literature review was mostly used followed by experiment. Also, the analysis of information consisted of the contents’ analysis, difference examination, and qualitative analysis. This study helped understanding of the fantasy picture books, and made a foundation of research on the potential new area of the books.
