과학영재학생의 논문에 나타난 서론 서술의 특징

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 과학영재학생이 작성한 연구 논문의 서론 부분을 분석하고, 특징을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 ‘과학영재교육’ 학술지에 2009년부터 2019년 사이에 게재된 총 48편의 과학 분야 논문을 시기별로 조사하고, 그 중 서론 형식이 유사한 23편을 대상으로 장르 분석 방식으로 서술 단계를 살펴보았다. 조사 결과에 따르면, 과학영재학생들이 작성한 논문의 서론 서술 방식은 시기별로 다른 특징을 보였다. 초기에는 대부분 서론 단독으로 도입부를 구성하였으나, 최근에는 연구의 필요성 및 목적과 이론적 배경을 분리하여 서술하는 경향이 있었다. 또 전반적으로 서론을 서술하는 문장 수가 점차 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 서론 서술 단계 분석을 통해, 과학영재학생이 작성한 서론은 전반적으로 전문 연구자 집단의 연구 논문과 유사하게, 기본적인 서술 단계를 포함하고 있음을 발견하였다. 그러나 선행연구 및 관련 자료의 유기적 제시, 타당하고 적절한 논리 전개, 연구 목적의 도출 등에 있어 일부 미흡한 측면이 있었다. 이러한 점들을 고려하여, 교육적 시사점 및 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, the introductory part of research papers written by science-gifted students was analyzed and the characteristics were explored. To this end, a total of 48 scientific papers published in the ‘Journal of Science Education for the Gifted’ from 2009 to 2019 were surveyed by period, and among them, 23 articles with similar introductory formats were examined in a genre analysis method. According to the results of the survey, the types of introductions written by science gifted students showed different characteristics depending on the period. In the early period, introductory parts were composed mostly of introduction alone, but in recent years, there has been a tendency to delineate research goal and theoretical background separately. In addition, overall, the number of sentences describing the introduction has been on the rise. Through the analysis of the introduction narrative stage, it was also found that the introduction prepared by the science-gifted students generally contained the basic narrative stage, similar to the research paper of a group of professional researchers. However, there were some inadequate aspects in the presentation of previous researches and related data, development of valid and appropriate logic, and derivation of research purposes. In view of these points, educational implications and follow-up research were proposed.
