국문 초록

성능위주 소방설계(PBD)의 안전성 평가 과정에서 화재모델링의 신뢰성 확보를 위해서는 화재감지기 작동시간의정확한 예측성능이 요구된다. 본 연구는 대표적 화재모델인 FDS에 적용되는 정온식 열감지기의 주요 입력인자인 감지기 작동온도와 RTI의 측정을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 화재감지기 실험 장치인 Fire detector evaluator (FDE)가 적용되었으며, 제품 인지도 조사를 통해 선정된 국내 10종의 정온식 감지기가 고려되었다. 결과적으로 감지기의 제조사별로 작동온도와 RTI는 상당한 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었으며, 측정된 DB가 적용된 FDS의 감지기 작동시간은보다 정확한 예측이 가능함을 확인하였다. 최종적으로 신뢰성이 확보된 정온식 열감지기의 작동온도와 RTI의 DB가제공되었다.

영문 초록

The accurate prediction of fire detector activation time is required to ensure the reliability of fire modeling during thesafety assessment of performance-based fire safety design. The main objective of this study is to determine the activationtemperature and the response time index (RTI) of a fixed heat detector, which are the main input factors of afixed-temperature heat detector applied to the fire dynamics simulator (FDS), a typical fire model. Therefore, a fire detectorevaluator, which is a fire detector experimental apparatus, was applied, and 10 types of domestic fixed-temperature heatdetectors were selected through a product recognition survey. It was found that there were significant differences in theactivation temperature and RTI among the detectors. Additionally, the detector activation time of the FDS with the measuredDB can be predicted more accurately. Finally, the DB of the activation temperature and RTI of the fixed-temperature heatdetectors with reliability was provided.
