창의융합교육을 위한 공학계열 대학생의 창의융합역량 및 자아개념 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 공학계열 대학생의 창의융합역량 및 자아개념을 분석하여 이를 향상시킬 수 있는 창의융합교육 전략 모색의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있게 하기 위해 실시되었다. 이에 따라 창의와 융합을 통합적으로 접근하여 개발된 창의융합역량 검사(김정연, 2017)와 자아개념 검사(이경화, 고진영, 2015)를 실시하고, 검사결과를 성별, 학년별, 지역별로 그 수준을 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의융합역량은 성별 및 지역별 차이가 나타나지 않았지만, 학년에서는 저학년보다 고학년에서 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 자아개념의 인지적 자아에서는 저학년보다 고학년에서 높았으며, 비수도권보다 수도권 대학생의 수준이 상대적으로 높았다. 셋째, 자아개념의 정의적 자아 중 성격자아에서는 저학년보다 고학년에서 높게 나타났고, 그 외 배경변인별로 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 자아개념의 사회적 관계 자아에서는 고학년과 수도권에서 높게 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 공학계열 대학생을 위한 효과적인 창의융합교육을 실시하기 위해 이들의 창의융합역량 및 자아개념의 수준을 고려하여 적절하고 차별적인 전략이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze creativity convergence competency and self-concept of engineering students and to use the result as basic data for finding creativity convergence education strategy that can improve the engineering students. Accordingly, the creativity convergence competency test developed with an integrated approach to creativity and convergency(Kim, 2017) and the self-concept test(Lee & Koh, 2015) were used to analyze creativity convergence competency and self-concept by gender, grade, and region. The results of this study were as follows. First, the creativity convergence competency was not different by gender and region, but was higher in a upper grade than in a lower grade. Second, cognitive self-concept was higher in a upper grade than in a lower grade, and the cognitive self-concept level of engineering students in a metropolitan area was relatively higher than in a local area. Third, personality self-concept was higher in a upper grade than in a lower grade, and there were no differences by other background variables. Fourth, the social relationship self-concept was high in a upper grade and a metropolitan area. Therefore, to implement the effective creativity convergence education for the university students whose major is engineering, it is suggested that appropriate and discriminative strategies are needed considering their level of creativity convergence competency and self-concept.
