영문 초록

This paper analyzes the effect of interaction between human capital and FDI in regional economic growth, using China empirical study. Compare to another studies, this paper emphasis the interaction effect, not independent effect of FDI. The results find that the interaction between human capital and FDI has a positive effect to the regional economic growth in 1990-2006. And the effects in 1990-2000 are more notable than in 2001-2006. From the three region analysis, the interaction effect of Middle and Western region is more notable than East region. Especially, the regression coefficient of interaction effect in 2001-2006 has a positive significance, this finding has an important implication to the development of Middle and Western region. For the regional economic development in Middle and Western region, the policy maker have to attach great importance to the role of interaction effect.
