국문 초록

공급네트워크의 복잡도와 불확실성이 증가하면서, 공급네트워크의 신뢰성에 대한 중요성은 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 개별 공급업체에서 발생하는 공급위험은 해당 기업에만 머물러 있지 않고, 공급네트워크 상의 다른 기업에도 영향을 미친다. 따라서, 공급네트워크를 안정적으로 운영하기 위해서는, 공급네트워크를 구성하는 개별 기업과 공급네트워크의 구조적 신뢰성을 측정할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 이와 같이, 공급네트워크와 개별 공급업체의 구조적 탄력성을 평가하기 위한 측정 도구를 개발하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해, 먼저 네트워크 상에서 공급위험의 확산모형을 개발한다. 다음 단계에서는 공급위험 확산모형을 활용하여 개별기업에서 발생한 공급위험이 전체 네트워크에 미치는 영향과 최종 조립업체에 미치는 영향을 측정하는 네트워크 레벨 척도를 개발한다. 개발된 척도는 각 기업별로 측정됨으로써 개별 기업의 위험도를 측정하는 노드레벨 척도로 전환된다. 본 연구에서 개발된 척도들을 활용하여 공급네트워크의 구조적 탄력성을 측정할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 공급네트워크의 공급위험에 영향을 미치는 핵심 공급사를 식별하는 도구로 활용할 수 있다. 개발된 척도들의 적절성을 검증하기 위하여 다양한 유형의 공급네트워크에 대한 실험이 수행되었으며 실무적인 측면에서 함의가 논의되었다.

영문 초록

As supply networks are becoming increasingly complex and uncertain, the importance of reliability of supply network has been increased. Supply risk occurring within an individual supplier does not stay in this individual supplier, as they have consequences for other companies throughout the supply chain. Thus, to insure the stability of the supply network, it is necessary to measure the structural reliability of both the supply network and the individual companies constituting the supply network. Therefore, this paper aims to develop indices to evaluate the structural resilience of supply networks and individual suppliers. Towards this purpose, the paper firstly models a diffusion process of supply risk through the supply network, before moving to develop indices which measure the overall level of supply risk amplification in the supply network and at the final assembly company. The developed network level indices can be converted into node level indices to assess the risk amplification of individual suppliers. Subsequently, node level indices can identify which suppliers need to be managed to mitigate the overall supply risk in the supply network or at the final assembly company. Experiments were conducted on various types of supply networks, and managerial implications are discussed.
