예비수학교사 대상 Lesson Study 적용 사례 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 일본의 Lesson Study를 우리나라 예비수학교사교육에 응용하여수업을 개발하고 진행한 사례에 대해 논의한다. 이를 위해 중등예비수학교사를 위한‘수학교재 연구 및 지도법’ 과목에 Lesson Study를 적용해 운영하고 그 과정에서 문제점과 어려움을 분석하였다. 수업에는 48명의 중등예비수학교사가 참여하여, 9개의조로 나뉘어 준비-설계-실행-수정-재실행/공유의 과정으로 Lesson Study를 적용하였다. 수업 실행은 중학생을 대상으로 한 중학교에서 진행하였고 나머지 과정은 대학강의실에서 진행되었다. 연구 결과, Lesson Study를 적용하는 과정에서 조직 차원, 개인 차원, 공동체 차원에서의 어려움을 확인하였는데, 대학과 협력학교 연계를 통한수업 운영의 어려움, 예비교사의 수업 준비 부족, 학생과 학교 환경에 대한 이해 부족, 협력적 활동에의 어려움 등이 포함된다.

영문 초록

This study described a case study on a course using Lesson Study for pre-service mathematics teachers. As an instructor, the author developed a method course for secondary pre-service mathematics teachers named ‘Studying materials and instructions in mathematics’, in order to apply the Lesson Study and analyzed difficulties during the course. As nine groups, 48 secondary pre-service mathematics teachers participated in this course. The Lesson Study had a cycle of preparation-plan-conduct-revise-reconduct/reflect. The stage of conduct was done in a middle school classroom and the other stages were occurred in a university classroom. The results in this study showed that the pre-service mathematics teachers had difficulties in organizational, personal, and community dimension such as difficulties of managing schedule, lack of preparation in planning lessons, little understanding on students and circumstances of school, and difficulties in cooperative activities with their peers.
