국문 초록

본 연구에서는 다문화 청소년의 신체만족도가 우울에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 두 변인간의 관계에서 사회적 위축이 매개효과를 나타내는지 분석하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 다문화청소년패널조사(MCAP) 6차(2016년) 자료의 1,228명을 살펴보았다. 빈도분석 및 기술통계, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 매개효과 검증을 위하여 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 다문화 청소년의 신체만족도가 우울에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 다문화 청소년의 신체만족도가 우울에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 사회적 위축의 부분 매개효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 다문화 청소년의 우울을 감소시키기 위해 신체만족도를 증가시키고, 사회적 위축을 감소시키는 방안에 대해 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of social withdrawal in the relationship between body-cathexis and depression among adolescent of the multi-cultural family. The participants were 1,228 adolescent of the multi-cultural family, with data taken from the 6th year(2016) Multi-cultural Children and Adolescents Panel Study(MCAPS). A hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the mediating effect of social withdrawal in the relationship between body-cathexis and depression among adolescent of the multi-cultural family. A bootstrapping was used to examine the mediating effect. The results showed that body-cathexis was found to have negative impact on the depression. Further, partial mediating effect of withdrawal was found in the relationship between body-cathexis and depression. Based on these result, suggestions and implications were provided.
