의료사회복지사 수련제도에 관한 인식과 수련교육 요구분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 2020년부터 국가자격으로 도입되는 의료사회복지사 수련제도 개발의 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 그동안 민간자격으로 운영되어 온 의료사회복지사 수련제도에 대해서 검토하고 관련 문헌을 고찰하였다. 또한 의료현장에 근무하는 사회복지사 총 222명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 후, 수련제도에 대한 보다 구체적인 인식을 파악하고자 3회의 초점집단인터뷰(FGI)를 실시하였다. 양적조사 자료를 토대로 의료사회복지사 직무역량 중요도와 현재 수준 간의 차이를 t검정, Borich 공식 및 The Locus for Focus 모델을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, ‘고위험 환자의 조기개입’, ‘가족상담’, ‘심리사회적사정’, ‘환자상담’, 사례분석 및 평가’, ‘재활계획상담’, ‘퇴원계획상담’ 직무역량이 교육우선순위가 높게 나타났다. FGI 분석결과에서는 총 9개의 하위범주 및 4개의 상위범주가 도출되었으며, 주요 주제는 ‘수련제도의 방향성’, ‘수련교육에서의 핵심 공통역량’, ‘수련교육의 표준화’, ‘수련제도 운영 활성화를 위한 고민’이었다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 의료사회복지사의 수련제도 개발을 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to provide basic materials for the development of a training system for medical social workers, which will be introduced as a national competency in 2020. In order to reach this goal, this study reviewed the up-until-now privately operated medical social worker qualification system and existing literature. In addition, a survey was conducted with 222 social workers working in the medical field and three Focus Group Interviews took place in o rder t o find o ut m ore s pecific perceptio ns o f a training s ystem. Based o n this quantitative data, job competencies of medical social workers were ranked by importance and compared with current levels using a t-test, Borich Formula, and Locus for Focus Model. Results showed high training priorities for job competencies on ‘early intervention for high-risk patients,’ ‘family counseling,’ ‘psychosocial assessment,’ ‘patient counseling,’ ‘case analysis and evaluation,’ ‘rehabilitation planning counseling,’ and ‘hospital discharge planning counseling.’ FGI analysis results showed a total of 9 lower categories and 4 upper categories, where main topics included ‘direction of training system’, ‘core common competency in training education’, ‘standardization of the training education’, ‘consideration for revitalization of training system management’. Recommendations are given for the provision of a medical social worker training system based on these results.
