국문 초록

요즘 한센병자가 창작한 작품이 주목을 받아 한센병문학의 존재가 사람들 입에 오르내리게 되었다. 2002년에는 한센병문학연구에서 쓰루미 슌스케(鶴見俊輔) 등이 [한센병문학 전집(ハンセン病文学全集)]을 편찬하는 등 한센병문학연구가 비약적으로 발전했다. 그러나 한편으로 ‘한센병문학’은 한센병자가 집필한 문학에 한정되는 경향도 나타나기 시작했다. 실제로 [한센병문학 전집]에는 한센병자가 집필한 작품만 수록되었다. 또한 많은 문학자가 1940년대부터 1960년대 후반에 걸쳐 한센병 요양소의 기관지에서 선평 활동을 했음에도 불구하고 지금까지 한센병자에 관련된 문학자의 선평 활동은 거의 언급되지않았다. 더욱이 미국의 통치를 받아 일본 본토와는 다른 체제 하에 놓인 오키나와의 한센병 요양소에서 이루어진 문학활동은 이제까지 상세하게 언급되지 않았다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 한센병 요양소 오키나와 애락원(愛楽園) 기관지 [애락(愛楽)]에서 선평을 담당했던 아쿠타가와상 수상작가 오시로 다쓰히로(大城立裕)의 선평활동을 개관하고, 한센병 요양소 오키나와 애락원의 기관지 [애락]에 실린 미야라 다모쓰(宮良保)의 ｢갯게(浜蟹)｣와 미야자와 시게루(宮澤茂)의 ｢운명(軍命)｣을 분석하여 오키나와 한센병자의 정체성을 검토하였다.

영문 초록

In recent years, the works written by Hansen s disease patients have attracted attention, and the existence of Hansen s disease literature has become widely known. In 2002, the study of Hansen s disease literature made great progress with the compilation of ‘Hansen s Disease Literature’ by Shunsuke TSURUMI and others. On the other hand, however, “leprosy literature” has begun to be restricted to literature written by leprosy patients. In fact, only works written by leprosy patients are included in ‘Hansen s Complete Works’. In addition, despite the fact that many literary figures published their reviews in the journals of leprosy sanatoriums from the 1940s to the latter half of the 1960s, little has been said about the selection activities of literary figures who were involved in leprosy. In addition, no detailed description has been made of the literature activities conducted in Hansen s disease sanatoriums in Okinawa Prefecture, which were under the rule of the United States and were placed under a system separate from the mainland. This article gives an overview of the activities of Tatsuhiro Oshiro, an Akutagawa Prize-winning novelist who was in charge of the selection and comment of the organ magazine ‘Airaku’ of the Hansen s disease sanatorium Okinawa Airakuen. Based on this analysis, we will examine the identities of leprosy patients in Okinawa through the analysis of Tamotsu MIYARA “Hamagani” and Shigeru MIYAZAWA “Gunnmei”, who were published in the organ magazine ‘Airaku’ of Okinawa Airakuen Sanatorium.
