자기결정성이 대학생들의 창업 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

정부는 실업률 해소를 위한 다각적인 해법을 찾기 위해, 기업의 인력 채용과 더불어 창업을 통한 일자리 창출 또한 중요하게 생각하고 적극적으로 지원하고 있다. 본 논문은 대학생의 창업 의도에 대해 자기결정성이 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 기업가정신을 매개변수로 하였을 때에는 자기결정성의 각 요인들이 창업 의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해, 설문조사 데이터를 통해 연구하였다. 구체적으로 수집된 설문자료를 토대로 하여, 타당성과 신뢰도측정, 회귀분 석을 통해 자기결정성이 기업가정신을 매개로 창업 의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하였 다. 자기결정성은 자율성, 유능감, 관계성의 3개 요인으로 분석하였는데, 대학생의 자율성과 유능감은 창업 의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으나, 관계성은 창업 의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 자기결정성과 창업 의도와의 영향관계에서 기업가정신의 매개효과 검증 결과, 자기결정성의 유능감이 창업 의도와의 관계에서 기업가정신의 혁신성, 위험감수성과 유의적인 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 자기결정성의 자율성은 창업 의도와의 관계에서 기업 가정신의 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성 모든 요인에서 완전 매개되는 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 자기결정성의 자율성과 유능감이 높은 대학생이 기업가정신을 통해 창업 의도가 높음을 시사하고 있다. 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향도 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In order to find a diverse way to solve the ever-rising unemployment rate, it is important for the government and enterprises to actively support the creation of jobs through promoting entrepreneurship as well as recruitment of people. In this paper, we analyzed the effects of university students’ self-determinism on the intention of entrepreneurship based on self-determination theory as well as the empirical analyses of validity, reliability measurement and regression on the collected questionnaires. The self-determination was analyzed by three factors of autonomy, competence, and relationship. Autonomy and competence had positive effects on the entrepreneurial intention, whereas relationship did not have an significant effect on the entrepreneurial intention. Further, examining the mediating effect of entrepreneurship on the relationship from self-determination to entrepreneurship intention, it was confirmed that the competence factor of self-determinism plays a significant mediating role through entrepreneurship (i.e., innovation and risk taking components) to entrepreneurship intention. In addition, the autonomy component of self-determination was found to be completely mediated to entrepreneurial intention by all components of entrepreneurship such as innovation, proactivity, and risk taking. In sum, this research shows that the students with high self-determination autonomy and competence have a high level of entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurship. We also discuss the limitations and future research directions.
