대학생 창의성 제고를 위한 교양교과 설계 및 운영

국문 초록

본 연구는 서울 소재 S 대학의 교양대학에서 창의성함양을 위한 교과목을 설계하여 운영하면서 나타난 수강생들의 창의성 변화를 통해 교육효과를 분석하였다. 창의성 교육 내용의 구성, 교수학습방법, 수업 설계와 운영 사례, 효과분석 결과 등을 통해 대학의 창의성 함양 교육의 설계와 운영에서 고려 사항들에 관한 실제적인 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 2017학년도 1학기부터 2018학년도 1학기까지 총 3개 학기에 개설된 ‘창의적 사고와 문제해결’ 수업에 참여한 수강생 120명이다. 이들의 창의력 향상 효과를 측정하기 위해 사전 사후 검사를 시행하고 대응표본 t-test로 검증하였다. 연구결과 창의성의 인지적, 정의적, 사회적 역량이 모두 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 대학생의 창의성을 효과적으로 계발하기 위하여, 첫째, 수업 내용의 구성으로 창의성 관련이론 강의, 퍼즐 및 도형 완성 활동, 브레인스토밍, 스캠퍼 등 다양한 창의적 사고기법, 창의적 문제해결 과정 등을 포함하는 것이 바람직하다. 둘째, PBL 등 학습자중심 교수학습방법이창의성 개발에 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 학생들에게 관련성 있고 공감할 수 있는 현실적 인 PBL 주제와 과제를 제시하는 것이 창의성을 높이는데 영향을 주는 것으로 파악된다. 향후 교양교육에서 창의성 교과목을 도입하고자 할 때, 위에서 제안한 사항들을 고려하여 수업을 설계하고 운영한다면 보다 효과적으로 창의적 역량을 계발하게 될 것이며, 나아가 미래 인재양성을 위하여 대학의 경쟁력을 갖추게 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of creativity on students creativity by designing and operating a curriculum to cultivate creativity at S College of S university in Seoul. The purpose of this study is to provide practical implications for the designing and operation of the university s creativity -enhancing education through contents of the curriculum, teaching and learning methods, instructional design and operation cases, and effects analysis results. The subjects of this study were 120 students who participated in ‘Creative Thinking and Problem Solving’ classes, which were opened in three semesters from the first semester of 2017 to the first semester of 2018. In order to measure their creativity improvement effect, pre-test was conducted and validated by the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the cognitive, affective, and social competencies of creativity improved significantly. In order to develop the creativity of university students, first, it is desirable to include activities such as theory of creativity, puzzle and figure completion, brainstorming, various creative thinking techniques such as scamper, and creative problem solving process. Second, PBL and other learner - centered teaching and learning methods are suitable for creativity development. Third, it is understood that presenting PBL subjects and tasks that are relevant and sympathetic to students has an impact on creativity. In the future, when designing and operating a class based on class contents, teaching methods, and appropriate tasks when introducing the subject of creativity in liberal arts education, we will develop creative competence more effectively.
