영문 초록

Balanced national development policy in Korea has mainly focused on regional competitiveness strength so far, As a result, it is also certain that regional sustainabilities such as poverty, social polarization and quality of life are getting more serious. In this context that balanced national development meets economic, social, environmental needs of region residents based on sustainable development This study aims to discuss evaluation of regional sustainability recognizing that balanced national development policy needs to integrate economic growth, social equity and environmental quality. In the analysis of regional sustainability, the three issues could be identified as followed: the goal of balanced national regional policy needs to turn to the sustainable perspective; the social equity and the environmental quality of region should be considered in the contexts of the national balanced development plan system; the government incentives are needed for environmental and social unfair region.
