국문 초록

본 연구는 2010년대 이후 경제 위기와 함께 심화한 신빈곤층의 등장과 아울러 거주지 부재와 마주한 인물들에 관한 영화들을 대상으로 하여 그 작품들의 시공간 재현 방식을 비판적으로 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 한국 독립영화 지형에서 박정범과 박석영 감독은 신빈곤 상태와 거주 불안을 전면으로 드러낸다. 박정범 감독 작품인 <무산일기>, <산다>와 박석영 감독 작품인 <들꽃>, <스틸 플라워>, <재꽃>에서 인물들은 거주지를 찾기 위해 생존 투쟁을 벌이고, 이 과정에서 인간은 완전히 소외된 채 노동을 위한 존재로만 여겨진다. 인물들은 안정하게 공간에 거주하지 못하고 여러 공간을 거쳐 거류해야만 하고, 연대와 환대로 타자를 대하지 못한다. 경험적 토대가 되어야 할 거주 공간이 파괴된 상황은 서로를 배제하도록 강요한다. 본 연구는 이러한 두 감독의 영화를 재현된 공간과 장소를 고찰하고자 한다. 거주 상황과 주체성의 관계, 거주 상황과 미래 전망, 거주 상황과 발화 형태, 공간 표현 방식, 공간의 상호 작용을 분석함으로써 공간과 주체의 구성이 어떤 관련이 있는지, 삶의 경험적 토대인 신체와 공간이 어떤 상호 영향을 주고받는지 살펴볼 것이다. 본 연구의 이러한 시도는 한국독립영화 진영이 전망하고 요청하는 한국사회의 공간을 전경화하려는 시도이다. 향후 본 연구의 분석이 한국영화의 시 공간을 분석하는데 있어 공간과 인물, 작가의 관계에 대한 비교틀을 마련 해줄 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to critically analyze the emergence of new poverty with the economic crisis since 2010 and the spatial and temporal recreation of movies depicting people in the absence of residence. In the meantime, the independent film industry in Korea has dealt with the housing insecurity of the poor. As employment becomes unstable, income declines, and the situation of not finding a proper settlement or struggling to find a settlement is reproduced in the film. Among them, Park Jung-Bum and Park Suk-Young reveal new poverty and residential anxiety. This study examines the space and place that appear in the films of these two directors. Through this, we will look at the relationship between residence situation and subjectivity, residence situation and future prospect, residence situation and dialogue style, and will look at the current position of both supervision works. Also, this study closely analyzes the films directed by Park Suk-young and Park Jung-Bum and intends to draw a picture of the space of Korean society that the independent film industry in Korea expects and demands. By analyzing the characteristics of time and space, we will look at how the subject and the environment relate to each other.
